Woody's Wood Fired Pizza

Went on a Friday evening around 6:30. Wait for table was 45 minutes & consistent with other reviewers experiences. Service was great. Servers were very attentive considering every table was filled. They have proper staffing. Had the all you can eat pizza buffet & it was great. Each time I went up for more slices, they had a different variety and the pizzas were hot, unlike other buffets that I've had. Great idea to have the buffet on your first visit so you can sample all the different pies. They give you a bottle of honey for your table to put on the crust after you've finished your slices. It was really good. I've never heard of doing that at any other pizza place before but I thought it was really good! I definitely recommend this pizza place to anyone who comes to town & will definitely eat there again next time I'm in town.

What a fun place. I'd seen this several times before while in Golden, but was ways deterred by the many people waiting for a table. I recently decided to give it a be try with my mom and my son as we were in no hurry and wanted to yet something new. We were told it could be a 30-40 minute wait, but if we waited 15 minutes, is be surprised. We went for the salad and pizza bar and it was very good. They keep a good selection of different pizzas at all times, though most (not all) are one or two topping pizzas, so you won't be getting the real specialty pizzas from the buffet. Take their advice and dip the pizza crust in their honey - delicious! They also have a good selection of local beers on tap.

Great atmosphere and superb service. Yes, if you get all you can eat pizza you do need to get it for yourself. That said, you can request just about any pizza and they'll cook it. We had to wait a while for a table but we had a big group and it was worth the wait. Great options for kids and adults, and our server was incredibly busy but always available and quick to respond to any requests. We'll be back for sure!

Great food, lots of good gluten free options and even good dairy free choices. The pizza was amazing, and the gluten free crust is great! One of the best I've had. Fast and caring service and helpful waiters. I would highly recommend.

Tried the buffet for $13.99 and it was a good deal. Lets you try all the varieties of pizza they make and has one soup and various salad bar offerings. Also had the wood fired wings and they were tasty, too. Our server was good, the place was busy. Happy hour has $1 off draft beer, wine, and well cocktails. It would be nice if they labeled the pizzas on the buffet so you knew sauces and not so obvious ingredients. Ended up choosing a couple of slices with BBQ sauce, which I don't like, and nobody at the table ate those slices. I try to be considerate at buffets and not be wasteful. Signage for the pies would eliminate that. After choosing poorly, I did ask a server for info before getting more since the cooks didn't have time to answer any questions about the pizza.
