What a great place. Greeted at the door like long lost friends, terrific salsa and the best real margarita I have ever had anywhere. Great and friendly service to boot. These folks are definitely something different than the run of the mill Mexican chow. We will be repeat customers for certain.

I love hiking nearby and we decided to give this place a shot. So glad that we did! Great enchiladas. Service was pretty slow, but it was busy and that happens sometimes. I've already told my friends about it.

Adorable little place sharing space with a gas station. Go in anyway. It's a traditional "Mexican restaurant in America" place. Cultural decor, very delicious food at reasonable prices, fantastic service. The salsa here is spicy, yum!

I was visiting Denver for work and we heard about Carreta Vieja so decided to give it a try. What a great restaurant! There were 6 of us in the group and we ordered 6 different meals to share. All of them were delicious.....as were the top shelf margaritas!! The owner and staff were so attentive and treated us like family. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Wonderful dining experience!
