“My wife and I went for dinner on the first Saturday they were open. The food was very good. Quality bread and pasta. My wife had a pasta dish and i had a sandwich, both very good. I had clam chowder as a side, wonderful! There were the normal minor kinks to work out when opening a restaurant but it's likely they'll have them ironed out quickly. We will definitely go back to try the pizza. Overall they all did a very good job with what used to be a very mediocre restaurant.”

“We went in for lunch today, and it was great! We were greeted immediately and got to choose our seat. The service was friendly and fast, without that weird disappearing act some waiters pull when you need your check. I had a veggie/black bean burger, which was homemade and had all sorts of veggie toppings. My husband had the BLAT, a BLT with avocado. He liked it a lot. We will definitely be back!”

“Absolutely amazing food. We had the Dal Mahani which was fantastic and well spiced. The curry chicken soup, which I have not had anywhere before, had a light curry flavor and really fresh ingredients. My friend had one of the lamb curry dishes which also had great flavor and nice cuts of lamb. He also enjoyed the rice pudding quite a bit. Will definitely be back or do take out. The ambience is so/so as space is still being decorated which the owners have acknowledged they are working on. Definitely try this place out - you will NOT regret it!”

The overall product doesn’t quite pull off the level of experience that the pricing and redecorated atmosphere suggests. As an example, $9 for a pretzel and if you want a couple of ounces of the watered down convenience store cheese, that’s an extra $3. There doesn’t seem to be much of a cocktail program and the bar selections seem more distributor driven as opposed to curated. Still hoping this place turns out to be the monster it could be with a handful of adjustments 👍”

“Stopped in today for the first time. Wanted to try the cinnamon rolls but they were not ready. Decided on the rotational roll which was chocolate cinnamon. The roll was great, not too much chocolate and plenty of cinnamon. Delightful gooey frosting, on the side, of course I used it all! The young man at the counter gave me a discount on my order, which was a very nice gesture. I will definitely be back to try the biscuits and gravy. Edit! “LOVE this new West coast dining experience here in Lakewood! First I love how the staff is paid a livable wage. Every employee I've encountered over multiple visits has been friendly and generally happy to speak with the customer (unlike many other fast food places). Second the food itself is fresh and delicious, down to the fresh lettuce and tomatoes. The fries are a bit unique - like a cross between a chip and a fry. The service is fast - never waited in line more than 30 minutes even during their Grand Opening! Great fast food experience.”
