Stopped over for the night and googled restaurants locally. This is a great place with excellent food and service. We has one of three post specials
So this really isn't a bar and grill in my humble opinion. It's a restaurant inside of a VFW post. The menu was surprisingly expansive. We wanted breakfast at 2:00 in the afternoon and we got omelets. You can also get chicken fried steak and salads and pretty much anything you're ready for except a Martini because it's not a bar and grill.. 😁 It also has a super cool full size Cobra helicopter out front. Can't miss it.
I've been going to this VFW Post Bar and Grill for 7 years. Usually breakfast. The breakfasts are big, hot, and always reasonably priced. You know we'll be back!
We stopped in From vacation. There are not very many options for a long time in the area. The outside was inviting with the helicopter out front. They had prime rib and ri. No for the specials. We chose to split the prime rib. I thought it looked like a ribeye with prime seasoning . Another special was the cheesy vegetable. I’m sure they took canned broccoli cheese soup and added carrots, cauliflower and zucchini, but it was my favorite of the meal. I left the sweet potato fries uneaten. They were limp and soggy. The hubs mashed potatoes and gravy were tasty. I wish I had gotten those instead. The margarita was perfect and as well, the California Bull cocktail. Nicole was our waitress and she was very attentive to our needs
Was a VFW. Now just a regular place and no great shakes. I had chic cheese steak. All was tasting good.
