“I had the Filet Mignon and it was hearty and delicious! I ate by the bar and the service was terrific. Since it's day before Christmas, I ordered some takeout and the barman made recommendations on what's good to reheat for next day. That and other small acts of kindness made my day here at Durango”

“The definitely give you lots of cheese. That's a good thing, and they didn't skimp. I just like my Mexican with wayyy more flavor and spice. If your a mild type you'll probably love it here. It's worth a try for sure.”

“Sat us right away, service was courteous and friendly. We enjoyed the surf and turf and skewer app, great beer too! Very nice people. Quaint and somewhat quiet dining area. Fun overall experience.”

“I expected so much more! All the locals kept telling me to check this place out so I did. First off, we had to wait for 2 hours to be seated. Thankfully we were allowed to wait in the back patio area and order some drinks. The employees, are so friendly and attentive. They are great. The atmosphere is very upbeat, it’s packed so it’s noisy, but fun. Now to the food. My husband and daughter got their boil and it was very bland. It lacked flavor. My steak, was over cooked, they did take it back and they brought me another one which was also over cooked so I just decided to deal with it. The beer was nice and cold however. The worst part however was the next day when my husband, daughter, and me all got food poisoning. We believe it was the seafood since that was the only thing we all ate in common.”

“Best part are the corn tortillas- so fresh. Carne asada tacos were just perfect! Fish tacos special hit the spot! Don’t forget the guacamole! If you’re passing thru Durango, add it to your lunch must do’s. Patio seating on a summer day… and you’ve just about had a perfect lunch.”

“Outstanding smoothies and smoothie bowls here. I got the Third Eye bowl and it was really fresh, healthy and filling. Randomly stumbled upon it today when looking for a place to eat downtown. There are other food trailers in this location (as of today, a delicious taco truck and an equally tasty stir fry truck - my family tries it all) that are excellent as well, so there’s a little something here for everyone. Great patio seating also. Definitely a spot to check out.”

“Rokko is new to town, but you sure wouldn't know it! The menu offers a wide variety of Japanese inspired cuisine. Our table ordered a wonderfully a unique brussels sprout appetizer, salmon bowl, steak bowl, and noodle dish. Each dish felt healthy, flavorful, and intentional. They were extra kind to pay attention to my food allergy.”

“A must eat. One of the best burritos I have eaten in several years. Delicious flavors paired with a toasted exterior tortilla wrap. These are large, hearty burritos, that we could not finish in one sitting. My wife commented that she could not recall a burrito that had bested her.”

“Maybe I'm just spoiled by ramen in Dallas .. but this place was just merely good, not great. The miso was bland, the tonkotsu was decent but nothing special. The hard boiled egg was... different. If you want ramen, it will scratch the itch.”

“Delicious! I ordered The Island BBQ Bowl. It was full of perfectly balanced flavor and texture. I added little sriracha to my bowl for a little heat. I ate every bite! Yum!😋”

“Exactly what we were looking for. Amazing flavor, made with care and love, locally sourced, unique, and a wonderful experience in every way. These folks are passionate about what they do and it really comes through in quality of the product. The burnt ends are unreal, the pulled pork is absolutely perfect, and the brisket melts in your mouth the way it should but frequently does not. I would be I. Trouble if this establishment was in my local area. The chimichurri and mustard sauces are so well balanced and the perfect compliment to the meats which are cooked to perfection. The purple slaw reminded me of my recipe and the mac and cheese was excellent. All of this in a wonderful dog friendly outdoor dining experience with an excellent bar on site for drinks. The elderflower cider is incredible. Thanks Rang Tang, highly recommended and greatly appreciated.”

“Enjoyed the food and ambiance so much that we went two days in a row while in town. Both days had Nachos Libres, different meat each time... delicious! Front of restaurant has a night club type vibe. Back half has plenty of seating with views of the open kitchen. Contemporary decor with the Mexican wrestler theme is interesting and unique. Staff was all friendly and bathrooms were clean.”

“We all ordered different things but shared to be able to try the different flavors. Can I just say...WOW... It was all delicious. The service and atmosphere was great as well. The only down side is that all four of us thought they were missing the mark on just having a waitress take your orders. They were already doing a bang up job coming to out table but...why not just the orders. We probably would have all ordered more drinks which means more money, but we sat and talked and forgot (since we were comfortable) we had to get back up to order more drinks or dessert, so we ended up shipping it.OH WELL, it was still EXCELLENT every other way.😉😍🍷🍝”

“This is a MUST-TRY steakhouse when your in Durango. It’s not only delicious, it’s an experience! Every item that touched our table was divine. The drinks, appetizers and entrees were beautifully served. The ambiance was everything perfect and intimate. The staff and server treat you like royalty and our dining standards just went up several notches after Ore House.”

“The trout special was fantastic on this fine Friday night. The flavor was great. Prime rib was another dish at the table, 16 oz portion, good as well. Chad the manager was quite on the ball and handled the rush of clients without reservations quite well. Will definitely recommend this to friends and return. Great job.”

“Such a lovely restaurant. But the food... Oh my gosh the food. Beyond amazing and the owner was completely amazing and helped us personally. They accommodated some restrictions that I have without question. We went back 2 days later with our friends. 10/10 stars”

“After driving many hours, my wife and I arrived in Durango, CO, and wanted something tasty but light for dinner. The EAST MEETS SOUTHWEST was in walking distance, so we tried it, and we were very glad we did. There were a lot of dinner options on the menu. I started with the SEAWEED SALAD and my wife chose the CUCUMBER SALAD. Then we decided to share the PAD THAI SHRIMP & CHICKEN, accompanied with a TEMPURA SHRIMP ROLL. Everything was absolutely well-seasoned and delicious, service was very efficient, prices were reasonable, and ambience was very comfortable. Highly recommended.”

“I'm very picky with BBQ usually choosing to cook it myself, but the BBQ sandwich I had here was one of the best I've ever had! The sauce was different than what I'm used to, but REALLY good!”

“Burger was good, but the fries were weird tasting? They said that they were using a different cooking oil to fry the deep fried items. The nuggets are tasting ok but the fries aren't that good. Staff workers were very nice. Thanks for a good lunchtime meal”

“Ok I was in town for Labor Day weekend. I actually was supposed to go to dinner at Steam works. I was disappointed they had a 2 hour wait and on top of that, no crab boil. So we drive the strip and stumbled upon this cute river side restaurant. Upon walking in, we were greeted, seated and our order was taken immediately! Everything was served in a timely manner. The food.. OMG! It was super delicious! Served fresh, hot and was not what I expected. I am glad we found this little place accidentally and thank Steam works for being busy lol. I totally recommend this place if your looking for Asian food. It was not greasy, and was made fresh. I'd like to add, very clean as well! The waitress that day was ever so nice. I will be a returning customer whenever in Durango! Also, they have a river walk way you can enjoy after dinner!!!!!”
