Awesome ski resort. I had a great time shredding gnar at cooper.
Absolutely wonderful place for beginner skiers with super small crowds. Easy in and easy out. Went to Breck a few days later and could not believe the swarms of people all over the place and how dangerous that is.
Do wish there was more of a lodge type feeling—-a cozy fireplace and spiked hot apple cider would do for me! Wonder if you can bring in your own food and drink and sit at the indoor picnic tables?
We have our season passes and hoping Corona doesn’t ruin it ??
I loved the snow! It was awesome! The lodge was a bit on the pricey side for a small resort so I would bring my lunch in the future. However, the snow was great. Need to ride a t-bar to get up from the backside of the mountain.
This is a great place for a family to ski. My family of 6 had a blast. Great team of people work there from sales to gear rental team to lift operators to ski school instructors. We really enjoyed our ski instructor Bob. The magic carpet lift is a great way to learn to ski and practice. We had fun on the green runs. Also a great deal!
I can’t recommend Ski Cooper enough for hitting the slopes. They’re super affordable, especially if you plan ahead and get lift tickets during one of their specials. Great mountain for beginners, lots of tree runs and challenging runs for the pros. Not super crowded either which is super nice. Overall best bang for your buck mountain in my opinion!
