Beers served in scratchy plastic pints👎🏽come here for the views but don’t expect great service. Food was good but not worth (2 burgers and 2 beers for $70 before tip). Very cool location along the river.
One of our favorite spots for live music, for a quick bite to eat going up Poudre canyon, for a slow get away from Fort Collins, and for delicious onion rings! We always enjoy the atmosphere, and good food. They're off the beaten path, which is 100 percent their charm.
This destination is one of our favorite mountain drives! Not only because it's so beautiful to drive Poudre Canyon but also it's fun and delicious to have a meal here. I'd love to know more about the chef here, but whoever it is certainly knows food. Haven't had a bad or mediocre meal there yet. Onion rings are THE BEST around! Fish taco wrap melts in mouth. Hubby says the Reuben is one of the best. We've really enjoyed the outdoor eating area especially with the addition of "bubbles" in which to eat--to stay safe during Covid AND to keep cozy in the weather. However, the dining area inside with floor to ceiling glass overlooking the Poudre River is pretty cool, too. We hear reservations are a must in the evening--so far we've lucked out by going mid afternoon without one. Oh, and Lunch With Santa was a hit with our grandchildren! Those reservations are a total sell out so be advised.
I went to the Mishawaka restaurant/Amphitheatre for the Daily Bread low capacity 2 night run. This venue has it all down to a science. The security was respectful and professional but not overbearing, the wait staff was absolutely on their A-game (I don’t think we ever needed something from our server during the show they were beyond prompt but didn’t take away from the magic of the show), the venue itself is clean, and sound and quality of live music is unmatched. I hoping the Mishawaka will want the Daily Bread crew back because I had the time of my life thanks to this venue and it’s staff. THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORK!
Went and had a valentines dinner with my girlfriend in one of the igloos on the river and it was an awesome experience! Definitely recommend! We went during the coldest week of the year (-2) but the heat lamps kept the igloo warm and with warm clothes we were fine. Food was good and atmosphere was a 10/10. Had nice selection of hot drinks to start off the night. Service was great. Would go again. Can’t wait to come back up for shows in the summer when things reopen!
