This place is crowded but for good reason! EVERYONE wants to be there. The dinner was fantastic. Steak and shrimp cooked to absolute perfection. An interesting take on Oysters Rockefeller that is probably more creamy and less cheesy than your used to but very well done. We also had the veal parmesan and the portions would satisfy even the biggest of appetites. Even if you didnt make reservations, it is worth the wait. Enjoy!
I do not get up to Estes Park very often. I like to have a steak whenever II visit this city. They have great food. The Rib Eye and Filet Mignon were both very good. I go here for a steak every time I am in Estes Park. 5 Stars.
We have dinner at the Dunraven regularly. I like the salmon. My wife likes the steaks. We love the brussel sprouts appetizer and the mushroom appetizer. Great atmosphere. Chef Marty is one of the best chefs around.
The food was amazing! We had pasta and and drinks and the avalanche chocolate cake for dessert. The atmosphere is very cool. It's pretty pricey but the drinks are strong and the portions are huge. We would definitely go there again!
The Dunraven is an institution in Estes Park, and we have been going there for more than 20 years. Through multiple owners the restaurant has retained its unique personality and the food today is better than ever. It has interesting decor, delicious Italian food, and a really friendly staff both at the bar and in the restaurant. You cannot beat the Dunraven meatballs (but I’ve never had a bad meal there).
Bring a dollar so that you can be a semi permanent part of the legacy at the Dunraven.
