This is seriously a hidden gem in central fort Collins. All the appetizers are great (we had tempura and gyoza). But the highlight is the main courses. We ordered the clay pot bibimbap and the sirloin bulgogi. Shared between two of us it was more than enough food and both were absolutely delicious and seasoned to perfection.
Good Korean/Japanese menu.
Had tasty spicy ramen and beef bulgogi. Definitely refreshing to have this food variety in Fort Collins!
A little confusing at first; a Japanese restaurant that serves predominantly Korean food. Judging by some of their decor and materials, has ties to the old wabi sabi in old town. Regardless, awesome place taking home in the formerly Hawaiian diner. Overall impression was amazing and they had great service and food. Specifically, they have entre items that would wouldn't dare see in Fort Collins, let alone even in Denver! The 순대국밥 was literally on point and reminded me of home. It was like a little slice of Korea for me to have in my pocket. Ordered a few other items and they were great as well. I worry for the location not being able to generate growth, but I hope this place survives and keep on kicking. Worth the visit, and plan on stopping by again to grab a bite or a late night snack. Fyi, izakaya is a Japanese late night style drinking/eating tavern. Though this is Korean, it was awesome and can't wait to grab drinks here! Looking forward to some late night soju...
Delicious authentic Korean food in Fort Collins! The Yuk Gae Jang (spicy beef soup) and dolsot bimbimbap was so hearty! Excellent service and the Korean chefs who we spoke to briefly were very nice and obviously talented! We will be back for more.
FYI their sushi menu won't be available for a month while they look for a sushi chef
I am so glad that I went here for dinner tonight. I’ve been passing by this adorable restaurant and when it finally opened had the chance to check it out. The staff is extremely friendly and the overall experience was wonderful. We tried all Japanese related foods this time but next time would like to try some of their Korean dishes. I will definitely be back soon!
