I met a couple of friends at Young's on Friday for lunch. I hadn't been in a while, but remembered this nearby eatery well.
We each had a beer today. There was a nice selection and our waitress named many without stumbling. My New Belgium's 1554 was cold and delicious. I had asked her to chill a glass for me so it would be ready for lunch. She did and it was. It was the perfect accompaniment to the lunch combo I selected, served with Fried Rice, Spring Roll and Soup of the Day.
I kind of hate to think of the salt involved in all the food I ate today, because I doubt that too much thought was put into those who might be trying to be aware of what they put in their mouth, but I figure that once a week *probably* won't kill me. So far, so good.
There was a TON of thinly sliced beef, interspersed with the crisp, wok-fried snow peas. My spring roll was more like a thin sausage rolled in a crispy fried wafer; not my idea of a traditional spring roll. I guess I'm not familiar with the Vietnamese Spring Roll.
It came with a clear dipping sauce that was excellent, however . . . . and made a tasty addition to the beef and snow peas. My local dark 1554 was $5, and the lunch combo was $10.50 . . . a very reasonable lunch these days, in th' Fort.
I wish I'd had room for dessert, but I didn't. On the way out I stopped to admire the gorgeous fish swimming in their tank, right in the center of the floor. It's been there since Young's opened, and long ago I named the iridescent blue angel fish Bob. I think I spotted Bob Jr, 'cause he seemed to wave a fin "goodbye", saying "Come back soon".

I've been eating at Young's my whole life. The Young family are truly good people. The food is wonderful and always consistent. My favorites are Lemongrass Beef, Sesame Chicken, Curry Chicken, Cashew Chicken, and the Bird's Nest. If you have kids order them a flaming ice cream dessert. Lunch menu is PERFECT. Clean, delicious, and local! Can't go wrong!

This restaurant has been amazingly and consistently well run for the 15 years I've been frequenting it. They have an enormous menu and I think anyone could find something appealing, which makes it great for a group. You can't beat the quality and value for a pleasant long lunch.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I've been coming here for years. My favorite menu items include the crystal rolls, Spring rolls, and peanut chicken. I came a few months ago with my daughter and introduced her to the crystal rolls. She loves them so much that we had to come again when she was back in town visiting. We had a limited amount of time because of the flight we needed to catch. The service was amazing. They expedited everything for us so that we had plenty of time to eat, and even a few minutes just to visit, before we left. My water glass was never empty. As always, this place never disappoints.

The lemongrass seafood noodle soup with a double order of shrimp is excellent, as are their spring rolls. I'm sure the rest of the menu is equally delicious, but alas I'm the sort that finds a good entree and can't not order it each time I venture in. Good service, moderately priced and family owned, Young's has been a staple for over 30 years. Definitely a go to recommendation to any newcomers to Fort Collins.
