Mo' Betta Gumbo

This is an absolute must visit! The owner is welcoming and everyone makes you feel like family. The community table is the best seat so you can chat with locals. The drinks will make you smile for a long time and the food will too!! It is amazing! I can’t wait to visit again.

My daughter and I went for lunch and were tight for time. Optimally, not a great idea. This place is best savored, but our server was very understanding and moved everything along swiftly. Great place. Great food. I look forward to returning and spending some time enjoying the tastes.

They give a great Louisiana experience. Their specialty was a great deal of moonshine in a multitude of flavors. Good strong drinks. Their gumbo was delicious, just the right kind of spicy and savory mixed in. This location is going to move February 1st, and will have a stage where live music can be performed, as well as more windows for a better view of outside.

My friend and I went tonight with no reservations, we were greeted and were recommended to go to a neighboring pub while we waited for a seat. We ended up sitting at the bar and had the best service we've had in a while! The staff were cheery and so great to be around, they answered every question we had as this was our 1st visit. The food was incredible, the drinks were amazing. We are definitely going back. Big portions to boot!!
