Overall the meal was quite good. They have a variety of food and drink offerings including fun non-alcoholic drinks like blueberry shrub lemonade and vegetarian options. Generally the ticket prices are a bit high but the food is very high quality. Ones exception was the duck salad. $30 for mostly greens and smoked duck with a very limited smattering of toppings like beets and nuts. I would go here again but would probably avoid the overly expensive salad. Burger was great, pasta was delicious and alternative offerings are very interesting!
Worth every penny. The atmosphere, staff, food, wine, all top notch. It wasn’t my first dinner here and it definitely won’t be the last.
They went above and beyond to make my one year anniversary with my wife special.
The only problem with the night was I didn’t have a big enough stomach to order one of everything. Oh well, I guess I’ll just need to hurry up and book a reservation for a return visit.
I don’t know what GJ has done to deserve a restaurant like 626, but I am here for it. Fantastic food, a great selection of wine, and amazing service. We took advantage of a beautiful night and sat outside. There is not a lot of traffic on the street, so we had no trouble carrying on a conversation. The food was presented so beautifully and it tasted phenomenal. I still can’t stop thinking about the crispy tofu and the Chilean Sea Bass 🤤
Surprised to find such an awesome restaurant in Grand Junction. The Miso Marinated Sea Bass was about as good of a piece of fish as I have ever eaten. The Cucumber soup was delicious and the have super interesting wine program. Service was very friendly, attentive and professional (Angie?). Will most definitely be back.
This cozy restaurant had really nice romantic ambiance! They even accommodated a last minute extra guest and pushed the time of our reservation back. A friend had suggested this restaurant so I took my best friend for her birthday, which the restaurant helped to organize a personalized happy birthday menu with her name ending with sparklers on her truffles at the end of the night! We ordered the fried calamari with very interesting sauces, fried oysters (was slightly disappointed there weren’t fresh oysters offered), roasted beet carpaccio (the sea salt served in a little bowl rather on a spoon would have been preferred), the Waygu burger and the squid ink pasta (with delicious gochujang sauce). Overall the presentation of each entree/plate was beautiful, and the waiter (Josh) was a delight and very helpful in making our decisions on our food journey here! The drinks were also a smash and very delicious!
