My husband and I came to the winery for New Years Eve dinner. I just have to say, this place knows how to cook a steak! Also a wide variety of entrees, and sides available. The service was impeccable with the manager checking in a couple of times to make sure all of our are needs being met.
Absolutely delicious!!! Service was very good too. The mac and cheese was so yummy. I did the sea bass with pilaf and green beans. Super flavorful. My friend got scallops and potatoes and she really liked hers. Our waiter Steven was so fun. Very attentive, helpful, and fun. We got the palisade cake special as well. So rich and decadent. We would definitely come back.
Great place to eat in town. Love Curtis he's our favorite server. Friendly staff. Always love the food. And the lobster bisque is delicious!
It was a happy accident to eat here. We were looking for wine tastings but then we found this restaurant instead. The location and the restaurant itself was amazing. The food on the other hand was superb! We had the calamari and soup for appetizers and was so good. The entree were the prime rib and the featured halibut which were both flavorful and savory! The owner comes to ask each table how things were and that's nice.
Make sure you have reservations though because they are packed.
MUST HAVE: The Whitefield Mushrooms in Garlic Butter are the best item on the menu! You won't be disappointed. The cranberry creme brulee cheesecake was also a close second- rich creamy texture without being too strong. The cranberries were tart and paired with the cheesecake well.
The scallops had great reviews but I was disappointed. There was no crust and the sauce was completely overpowering.
The rest was great- Superior service (glasses never got less than half full at any point in the night), the steak melted in your mouth and the sauces were both light and flavorful. The Mac and cheese was surprisingly good and I'd recommend it for both adults and children.
