Leon's Mexican Restaurant

I've been eating here for over 20 years. It's usually with family, so this place is special. The food is always good, and they make accommodations. The owner is a sweet,hardworking person and there is a reason this place has made it through so many economic hardships.

My favorite food is the shrimp taco and the shrimp tostada seafood tostada. And the churros for dessert are great! Staff is great. Clean place and super good!!

The meal wasn't terrible, I had a quesadilla and my husband had tacos. The pork was dry but tasty. The reason I gave it a 3 star review is because the server, while nice enough did not pay attention to us and there was only 3 other tables in the place with 2 servers working. We had to ask for everything, another drink, hot sauce,you name it, we had to ask. At no point did she ask, is there anything else I can get for you? Or anything even remotely similar just came and took empty drinks and didn't bring more until we asked. We may try it again but only if our favorite place is closed again as they were tonight.

Simple menu. Solid lunch, torta was good. I want to try the chicken enchiladas next time though. Great rice and beans!
