“Our servers were exceptional! Friendly and attentive. We had wings as an appetizer, Great flavor before any sauce, ranch dressing was really good, and BBQ sauce was sweet and tangy. We shared the Chicken fried steak and truly enjoyed it! Great steak, great mashed potatoes and the gravy was wonderful. This was a great family, home cooked meal restaurant! Definitely a great go to place in Creede!”

“Small town If you're from a small remote mountain town of 400 people, or can appreciate having any kind of a restaurant available for eating out, then go to MJ's. The food is homemade to order and fresh...always good ...no matter what. I love the breakfasts, the pork tenderloin sandwich, BLT, macaroni salad, home made chicken tenders, and more. Service is typically limited to one cook and one waitress. You deal with it. If you're entitled and expect quick and available service at all costs, then why are you in Creede?”

“We have eaten here three days in a row! Pulled pork, and ribs on day one. Brisket bahn mi and pulled pork cheese steak on days two and three. The food is EXCEPTIONAL!!! The combination of tender, tasty brisket with cucumber, jalapeno, carrot and siracha is incredible on the bahn mi. The cheese steak with pulled pork, onion, jalapeno, cheese, mayo is total comfort food. My husband and I can't decide while sandwich we like more, so we split them both and share. When I say this is BBQ is amazing, it is literally top two of my life. I lived in the Carolinas for 20 years and nothing compares to Big Doug's Texas BBQ. Don't miss it!”

“The Cabaret at Arp's. Creed Repertory Theater and Arp's teamed up to present the Cabaret. Dinner and a show. Arp's has moved to the Creed Hotel. They set up a large reception tent next to the hotel for the Cabaret. At 5:00 PM checked in we were seated in the tent. We ordered from the regular menu. As usual the food and beverages were excellent. At 7:00 PM the Cabaret began. The show featured some of our long time favorites and many excellent new players. The show was original and very entertaining. It lasted around 50 minutes. The tickets were $20 for the Cabaret portion. The show was PG13.”
