The Mav Kitchen & Tap House

After a long day on the road, we booked the hotel next to The Mav. We were quite hungry and this was quite convenient being next door. Noticing that the restaurant closes at 9pm, we headed over, it was a little after 8. The staff was friendly at first.
The burger was one of the best we've ever had. The tacos were lackluster, pretty bland and small portions. Atmosphere was comfortable, typical bar n grill
The thing that wrecked our experience was the pressure we felt to by the staff to leave. We asked for the check at 9pm, closing time. Advice, go somewhere else, or get there early.

First time eating here and we went as a larger group. Excellent service, the waitress took orders and came back for those that needed more time. I had to modify my order due to dietary restrictions and the waitress was well versed on the available options, knew what to offer me and from what I saw, the rest of the table was happy with their food as well. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back here regularly, considering I don't eat out much!
Personally I had the Bison Burger, but since I have to eat a Wheat-free diet , I was able to get a gluten free bun. To substitute the onions, the waitress asked if I saw any options on the other burgers that I would like to replace them with, and I ended up choosing the Goat cheese burger and substituting onions for Mango salsa. It was delicious! A fan of their fresh Sweet Potato Fries as well!

If you're ever in the area this a definitely a good spot. Greeted abd seated in a timely manner. My server was Sarah with a great upbeat attitude. The menu had a nice selection. I had the buffalo wings, fries, and a customized pizza. GREAT TASTING FOOD. Now my lovely server recommended me this delicious tasting pomegranate margarita. That sealed the deal. Will definitely be back. Will be looking for Sarah too 😉 Wonderful staff.

Great food and service. Menu is a bit pricey, but worth it.
