Delicious vindaloo and yellow curries. The truffle fries were great too. Very friendly staff and exceptional service!
The host, Karo, was the best host there. Very friendly and food was fantastic. The service was incredible and portion size was fantastic. Best food we had in aspen. Will definitely dine again whenever back in town!
Amazing meal. Amazing drinks. Amazing staff. Do yourself a favor and have a casual dinner here.
This is my go to place when I come to Aspen. It’s delicious, fresh, and the staff is phenomenal! Highly recommend!
The name “Aspen Public House” implies that everybody is welcome here. The type of place you feel comfortable not wearing Prada and Gucci. The prices are very affordable for Aspen. The food is a mix of healthy salads, steak, sandwiches, and Indian dishes. The cocktails are creative and tasty. There is a large selection of quality spirits.
However, we did not feel welcome after all. We’ve been coming here since this place was Bentley’s. Most of us have been living in Aspen for 15 years. We are a group of hard working local moms who randomly find time to go out for a drink together. Yesterday, the waitress decided to calculate 20% gratuity in our bill although our group was smaller than 6. She heard we all had an accent and was worried about her tip. As far as I know, the gratuity you leave is based on the quality of the service. I work in the service industry too and have never left less than 20% at a restaurant. But I certainly don’t appreciate being forced into it. We might not come back.
