Taco pina

This is probably my favorite Mexican spot in Aspen! They favor locals and you can get such yummy food, in big portions at good prices! The restaurant has good outdoor seating in the shade, and games on the patio. I can’t wait to see how much they grow, and am excited they are open when everything else is closed in off season.

I live 40 minutes away from Aspen and ordered Tacos al Pastor and Baja grilled Shrimp. When I came home everything was still so delicious and also the container that is metal did not transfer to the food which tends to happen when I order from other places.

Haven't tried the Drinks yet. I have been there first time in the morning and you can see the cooks making everything fresh which is amazing.

Good concept, "Mexican Street food" casual contemporary. Overall food is good, but prices need to be adjusted. Beer prices are reasonable, cocktails - tequila - very pricey. $6.00 and up for a taco. Guacamole way overpriced at $15.00 for a little portion, and it was not freshly made to order, to much lime. I'll go back, but it's the Aspen challenge, can you have a filling meal and a beer or cocktail for less than $50?? Not at Taco Pina.

I got a catering order from here for 50 people for a work event. I hadn't had the food yet but heard amazing things so decided to give it a try. They did not disappoint. Not only did they get this order for me only 3 days prior to the event but Nikki sat down with with and helped me come up with the menu for everyone and even helped me with day of changes I asked for. Everyone loved the food. They put so much thought into the catering order including serving utensils. Thank you Taco Pina! So happy you're in town now.
