Incredible or should I say, amazing, homemade food! The strawberry margarita was fabulous too! The personal service and hospitality by the owners, Andrew and Melissa, was above and beyond! We loved it so much that we had to stop for lunch again, before heading out to Denver. You must stop in even if you're within an hours drive!

We are camping @ John Martin and came to Lamar to buy a few groceries and decided to have breakfast. We were treated like lifelong friends and the food was absolutly great. Thank you for my starter too, your family is absolutely awesome.

Great family run gem of a restaurant. You might drive by this place if you aren't careful. Don't! I had the beef fajitas. Great flavor and a nice char on onions. Loved the jalapeños instead of bell peppers. Portions were large. Waitress was super nice, offered great suggestions. Can't wait to go back for breakfast.

This place is the budget airline of restaurants. The prices seem good at first, but they’re going to charge you for every single thing. Chips and salsa? Not included. Rice and beans? Not included. Drinks? They come in bottles and cans, so no free water or refills. And the salsa is pretty spicy, so, if you’re on a budget, I recommend skipping the chips and salsa to start or you’ll have asked for two or three bottles of water before you even get the main course.

The food is pretty decent, but not as authentic as you’ll get closer to La Junta or Rocky Ford. Our server was also super friendly. The ambience in the dining room is pretty good, but the bathrooms are weird, though they have nice wall art.

Amazing Food! Great service! So glad that we got hungry driving through Lamar!

This place was packed when we came in, and we were still seated quickly and the every member of the staff, from the hostess to the waitress to the busboy made it a point to make us feel welcome and take care of anything we needed. Even the owner took time to come check on us and refill my drink. This place is what customer service should be!

    Then the food came out!

LA Lupita's isn't just somewhere to stop when you are driving through, this is a destination.

I'll gladly drive down from Castle Rock again for the chicken fajitas! The veggies were cooked perfectly and the chicken was literally the best I've ever had. From Mexico to Canada no fajitas I've tasted can compare! The chicken was moist and explodeding with flavor.

I can't wait to go back! Don't miss La Lupita's!
