    The food was good, but the service was lacking. It took 10 minutes for someone to get to my table. I do like the fact that they bring cornbread and rolls to the table first. They usually bring honey to the table, but I had to ask for honey at this restaurant.

    My daughter and I were here for lunch. She enjoyed soup and sandwich (she is limited because of a stomach problem). I had Cod on rice w/lemon pepper sauce. Delicious. Great service.

    It was a pleasant meal. The food was good (smaller portions than a few years ago). Our waitress was attentive. Great comfort food. My favorite is the chicken fried chicken.

    Absolutely love the service, food, and the friendly staff. I go to lunch alone a lot and the staff made me feel right at home. I felt like I was in my mother’s kitchen. I will most definitely return!!
