Floradora Saloon

We were recommended this place by a few people and I also liked the menu. We’ve been the quite a few restaurants here and have loved them all and all had great customer service. We went in and the hostess was not friendly whatsoever and then our waitress also seemed annoyed and not once did she smile; just seemed awkward.

We ordered the butternut squash fries which were delicious, the fried chicken and sweet potato chips for my kid (probably why waitstaff was annoyed because we had a kid with us), broccoli and cheddar broccoli which were all really good. My husband and I both then ordered the steak salad and then told they were out of it. Husband didn’t order anything and I ordered the house salad with grilled chicken which was a huge disappointment. Everyone around us that ordered other items looked amazing but my salad compared to the picture of the steak salad I originally wanted was a huge disappointment.

Also, very overpriced for what you get. We get inflation but the broccoli cheddar SIDE was what I got an entire small pizza for the other night at Brown Dog.

Sadly, this is the restaurant I was most excited about and it ended up being our least favorite meal and the only restaurant with unfriendly staff.

I felt right at home dining at the Floradora Saloon. Their casual atmosphere and eclectic menu drew us in. I enjoyed the hot wings and a virgin paloma (recommended by my kind waitress) while I waited for my husband to finish his hike. Service was prompt, but I never felt rushed. He was a very happy vegan once he got there and tried the veggie burger.. super unique and delicious served with the best shoe string fries!

The service quickly went downhill after the host helped us. Our waitress made assumptions that we only wanted appetizers and had us sitting at our table for awhile. The old guy walking around giving unsolicited advice was also a huge buzz kill. The food was good but I don't think that's worth returning for.

Great spot on Main St. the food was awesome! We had the steak salad and it was so good. The halibut was also delicious. Highly recommended.

My husband got one of the burgers and I got the crispy salmon tacos. My husband said his burger was 5 stars with great quality local beef with fresh ingredients and the bun was perfect and held everything together. The salmon fish tacos was a tasty and unique experience. Just wished the salmon had a little more flavor. But the hostess was great, the scenery on the patio was pretty and happy they had an patio to enjoy dinner with our pup.
