“AThis cozy restaurant was such a great experience for our party of 10 in the greenhouse room! Each course was incredible and they were able to cater to our vegetarian and gluten free guests. Cannot recommend this place more! 10/10”

“Took a bit to find the place, but it was a delightful lunch. Delicious grass fed burger and homemade bun made the burger special. The Gobbler was big enough to share. Unique and distinctive! It was worth the find coming from Utah!”

“Me and my wife went there for dinner on one of the nights of our 5th anniversary trip. The waiters were nice, food was good and the views were fantastic. There was great service and it was not very busy but was in a very nice area. P.S. it was funny because the way we were dressed they kept asking if we were part of a wedding that was going on floor below us.”

“Best margarita and setting combo in the USA! Nice generous pour with a Grand Marnier floater! Live music, sunshine and more skiing make this the best Margarita in the USA! See disappointing margarita in previous post and best Bloody Mary in next post!”

“Great place to take a break and grab something to eat on the slopes. Prices are high, and it's sideways crowded, but the food is hot and good”

“It was a slow evening due to events happening in town, so there weren’t many people in the restaurant. Our waiter was fantastic! I really appreciate his conversation and recommendations. The food was very good! Truffle fries were addicting, the house made ranch was wonderful, and the lamb lollipops were very flavorful.”

“Just had dinner here. The service was really subpar. Our pasta dish was cold and no one offered us fresh grated Parmesan. I’d been here once before and it was much better and this time it was so disappointing for how expensive it is. When we told the server about the cold pasta and her reply and reaction was kind of like oh. And they weren’t busy so it’s not like it was a bustling evening. There are better places on the mountain.”

“We had such a special visit here to celebrate both mine and my husbands birthday and anniversary. We share a birthday and got married on that day so a special day called for a special place and they truly delivered. The views are just incredible. Food was spectacular. And so was desert. Our friends from back home knew we would be celebrating there so they called ahead to purchase a gift card for us. So nice that the staff so kindly accommodated. It was a sweet surprise. Would HIGHLY recommend this place for any special occasion or just a romantic date night! To arrive, you just take a beautiful gondola ride up and at the first stop you will see the door to the restaurant.”

“This restaurant is located in the lobby of the hotel. While cozy it was a bit surprising the restaurant was not separate. Service was good. Food was fine.”

“Reasinably authentic Thai food. It is very popular but has few places, so it's a good idea to reserve in advance. There is an option to eat at the bar if you drop in, but you likely have to wait for this as well. The spicyness level is good but not quite Thai.”

“I seriously loved this place. A little pricey but hey, I don't mind paying for GOOD things. Ramen... PHENOMENAL! Ask for it spicy! Mac n cheese was good. Everyone loved everything. I'm huge on iced tea, and their fresh brewed iced teas were on point. I'd be a regular here if I lived close. High five guys.”

“We ate here for an early Valentine’s Day dinner and it was spectacular! It was our first time visiting Telluride, so we didn’t know much about where to eat, but am so happy we ended up at the Chop House. We had the most amazing lobster gnocchi starter, my boyfriend said his elk dish was the best he’s ever had, and the French onion soup was to die for. Plus the cocktails were the cherry on top! Definitely recommend if you want a nice dinner outing while in Telluride.”

“Could I love this place more? I could not. The charm of the spaces, the care and thoughtfulness of the service, the friendly and welcoming people and the beautiful interiors are all a dream. I LOVE this hotel. The room was spacious and the bathroom beautifully appointed. I love the food. I love the staff. I love the beautiful, beeeeeeauuuuutiful old bar. This place is a complete gem, it’s the whole package. Come and spend your money here, they deserve it and you will enjoy it all. I can’t wait to come back.”

“This place is always a surprise with a new menu to enjoy! We love the authentic fresh Thai menu offerings which are original and I must emphasize again FRESH! The spring rolls are freshly made and crispy, the dumplings are like homemade deliciousness, the bao buns AMAZING, and curries and vegetables are all bright and colorful and authentic! This place is a culinary GEM! So grateful to have them in this small town of Telluride! You can’t find Thai food this authentic and original most places in America—and this is from a huge foodie who scouts everywhere she travels for the best Thai food.”

“French cuisine with the best twist. Friendly staff, impeccable food and a very strong cocktail menu. Diamond Dave never disappoints behind the bar. We had the Summer Holiday and their take on a margarita - 10/10 recommend. For dessert, we had a raspberry tart with lemon pie ice cream. I wish they sold the ice cream by the pint. It was THAT. GOOD. Make the reservation- you won’t regret it.”

“I heavily browned out at this establishment, had an absolute blast, but you’re gonna tell me this is baked ziti? Can you tell me where in this recipe calls for beans?! 1 pound ziti or penne pasta Kosher salt 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 1 pound bulk Italian sausage, ground beef, or ground pork 1 large onion, chopped 3-4 cloves garlic, chopped 1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary or basil 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 4 cups jarred marinara or pasta sauce, or make your own tomato sauce Black pepper, to taste 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded 1 cup grated Parmesan or pecorino cheese 1 heaping cup ricotta cheese”

“Great spot to stop in and pick out a yummy treat. Coffee is delicious. I had the raised cinnamon donut which was huge!! It was good but not yum enough to have a second time. Today I picked out a giant ginger snap cookie. It is very yummy, though hasn't outdone my favorite spot in Greenville N.C. They have breakfast burritos and many other great choices. The seating area inside and outside is very cozy and welcoming. Really cute spot.”

“Friendly service, super cute place, and delicious food! The salad was amazing and the soft pretzel did not disappoint. The coconut brownie skillet was a little too gooey for me and I didn't see or taste any coconut, which was the part I was super excited about.”

“We had an incredible dinner for our 35th wedding anniversary. We walked in the restaurant and were greeted so warmly by a lovely young husband and wife who took care of us all night. We dined in a hut outside where we could stream our own music … awesome. We had amazing gnocchi, lamb, and chocolate tort and profiteroles. It felt like home with great conversation and friendship with 2 lovely and warm young professionals who took care of us. The night ended at the bar chatting and enjoying a last glass of French red wine. Just warm, cozy, delicious and remarkably memorable.”

“We've rarely had a dish here that we have not liked over the last 10 years. Beers are good even for the ones who prefer a standard domestic (I like The Reckoning). They make their own ginger beer and the mules are fantastic. The wings are the best in town IMO. Bar staff was knowledgeable and friendly.”
