    Food and coffee were excellent. Driving around site seeing and found this place.

    Over a year ago, I met the owners, Elliott and Vickie Robbins who recently bought the charming restaurant, that was named after the man who founded Florissant. The food is excellent and the homemade pastries are a must. Very quaint. You will be very pleased.

    Sadly, Elliott, assigned to the Special Forces combat unit at Fort Carson, was killed in Afghanistan in August. He is survived by his wife Vickie and their 8 month old son Elliott.

    Cute little coffee shop and breakfast spot for us. Really enjoy the croissant and my husband always gets the burrito. The latte was made well and filled me right up. Sad to see it closing for awhile but hopefully they will be able to open again soon. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

    Pretty atmosphere. But immediately turned off with a sign on the door that said no outside food allowed. While I understand it's a restaurant... and try provide gluten free foods... the kitchen is SUPER TINY and a cross contamination nightmare for celiac patients who must remain gluten free due to health reasons. Gluten free as a health choice the items are fine. The note on the door is against all ADA requirements so be aware. Either have a second dedicated kitchen or allows celiac patients to bring in own meal

    Quaint farm house cafe, amazing aromas, great coffee! The breakfast and pastries looked great. My daughter enjoyed her bear claw. Great selection of teas. Would definitely come again.
