Come hungry, leave happy (and stuffed). Portions are large. A great place to have brunch. Service was great. Highly recommended

We had a great experience. I definitely recommend the hot cocoa with whip cream! Our waitress did a terrific job even when she was taking care of 4+ other tables and checking people out. Very family-friendly.

What a delightful little place! The atmosphere is comfortable. The food is a DELICIOUS! The cooks are NOT lazy, which is rare in small breakfast restaurants. Trish was our server. She was nice and informative. We barely had to wait for anything. Substitutions were hassle-free. Coffee is rich and hot. Highly recommend if you're looking for a small, homey breakfast.

The Hungry bear is really the best breakfast & lunch place in town. The menu is extensive and offers home cooked meals for a very reasonable price. It's more of a gathering place for the locals and tourist alike. It's nice that they have something for everyone and the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They have a sign up that is perfect for this restaurant " Enter as strangers, leave as friends". So true in our case. If you're looking for a down to earth, come as you are place to eat, The Hungry bear is it.

food was delicious and brought out as soon as it was done cooking! hot apple cider was even better!! service was great, you know it’s a great place when the local police stop in for brunch. i plan to come here every year when i come back to Colorado!!!
