“I come here quite often and honestly, for the price, it's worth it. The employees often take their time and don't rush at all while you're waiting there hungry as can be, however when you get the food the mishap is partially forgiven. I can say that the amount of food you get and quality service depends on who's working that day. Parrot Dice would get 4 stars if their staff was in order and cared about their jobs (this only refers so specific employees, I know many hard working people there and appreciate them very much).”

“Cool old building. Nice big bar and plenty of seating. We sat next to the wood burning stove. It was all quite cozy. The food was yummy and our waitress was great.”

“It was OK. Soup was very good. Salad bar a little lacking - more veggies i.e. chopped broccoli & cauliflower, radishes, etc. Potato bar was adequate and an unusual surprise. Hamburger was good. I'll go back, but would really like to see an improvement to the salad bar.”

“Oh My Gosh this is the best barbecue you will ever eat hands down. The sauces is to die for and the ribs are equally amazing. Please do yourself a favor and go here. You will not regret coming from Colorado Springs. It’s actually awesome because of the restaurant setting and country feeling”

“Great place with great food. Cool and chill atmosphere and the servers are nice and friendly. I just recently started going since I just moved out to that area. I like to go couple times a week and am usually sitting at the bar area.”

“This review is for my daughter's wedding which was held at The Shining Mountain Golf Course in November 2019. The venue was beautiful, the staff were kind and professional. I would recommend shining mountain golf course for any event, as we had a good experience, and any snags along the way were professionally and appropriately handled by Management in a timely manner.”

“Those place was so good! I got the chopped brisket sandwich and the sauce was fantastic. We went for lunch and it was pretty quite. The staff were super friendly and my water was always full. I saw people complain previously about the restroom not having doors on the stalls but the door locks so I didn't think it was needed. I would definitely come back.”

“Took our motorcycles out for a ride and wanted a good place to stop at for lunch. Found this place online and headed straight there. The reviews were very good and the food looked delicious. When we arrived, we were quickly greeted and sat at a table. Service was reasonably fast and the server was very polite and professional. We received our drinks very quickly and were able to ask questions about the food and recommendations. We ordered calamari, which was the steak kind and not the rings, it was delicious; we ordered burgers which were fresh bison burgers and were cooked to perfection; soup which was chili; andone other item that I don't remember. Everything was brought out promptly and tasted very good. I would recommend this place. They just changed their menu, so if you haven't been in a while, you should go.”

“Friendly even tho they were slammed with orders. I'd understand if they weren't, and we shouldn't take it personally, but the woman that was present was nice and her many badges showed she's been there for a while.”

“Such a cute little bakery nestled in Woodland Park! Their pastries and baked goods are to die for!! You just have to give this place a try if you're in the area. They do serve coffee and tea, but it's more like what you'd get in a gas station rather than a nice coffee shop. They also serve breakfast food and a few other dishes, but honestly, the baked stuff is where it's at and it won't disappoint.”

“EDIT: I have seen such a huge turn around! They are so friendly and give wonderful customer service now! Previous review: I understand that fast food can be very stressful sometimes but for the past few years the girls in the drive through seem kinda rude and unwelcoming. Maybe there’s some sort of Customer Service training available?”

“We were in the area for Christmas and found this awesome place. They have ruined all other pizza for us. We had a thin crust pepperoni and a white pizza (1/2 artichokes) with garlic knots salad and the cheese bread. Simply fantastic”

“I love this Taco Bell! I know that every time I place my order, they will get my order right, my food will be fresh, and the staff will be super friendly! The experience at this restaurant is what you hope that every fast food place would deliver! I wish that this staff would teach the other fast food places, in town the art of delivering fast food with such style! The greatest part of the experience is always the interaction with the friendly staff, until I bite into my perfectly made burrito or taco and then I forget about everything, else!”

“We came last minute. 7 of us including 3 children on Christmas Eve an hour before closing. We were greeted with smiles and our waiter was on top of it. He was funny and so accommodating and they were very busy. The food was exactly what we were hoping for. Every different meal ordered was equally delicious. Thank you to all the staff.”

“Never would have expected this place to be as good as it was. My group and I ate on the bar side of the inn, and it’s a proper dive. It’s old, beat up, and has kind of a musty smell to it, but it’s somehow not dilapidated or dirty. It’s just old, it has character, and it’s completely trustworthy. I got a Fish & Chips plate that rivaled some of the better Fish & Chips I’ve had anywhere in the country or in the UK. Other people in my party had the sandwiches and smoked meats, and everybody enjoyed their meal. The local charm here is off the charts. Stopping here for a drink and a meal should be an easy call for anybody visiting town.”

“My fave is their breakfast sandwich in a bagel. Bacon, egg, cheese. Sandwiches are made with high quality ingredients and a select choice of breads, cheeses, meats. Salads are fresh and tasty. They have several select desserts too.”

“Food is a little overpriced for the portions. Chicken fried chicken was small and overcooked. Onion rings were THICK which some people may love. They tasted good. Sweet and spicy wings were amazing! We were the last customers in the restaurant on a Sunday and they were more concerned with closing than serving. Still had another 30 minutes before close when we were done! Server was very nice and staff was friendly, just not attentive. We never even got a drink refill.”

“What a delightful little place! The atmosphere is comfortable. The food is a DELICIOUS! The cooks are NOT lazy, which is rare in small breakfast restaurants. Trish was our server. She was nice and informative. We barely had to wait for anything. Substitutions were hassle-free. Coffee is rich and hot. Highly recommend if you're looking for a small, homey breakfast.”

“Great family friendly home cooking Fresh pot pies every day, individually baked and served. The homemade pies are to die for too. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff. Only negative is that it's so popular you can have a bit of a wait to be seated.”

“The food quality is always excellent. You can rely on getting fresh, made to order delicious food. The 2 for $5 deal is an amazing value! The staff is always friendly and helpful. This particular visit was quite slow but the worker was very apologetic for the wait and it was obvious that they were short handed. Still five stars for freshness!”
