The Rusty Melon

I love this place and visit frequently. Its a great local bar with decent food and friendly staff.

Bar has a large selection of liquors, a couple wines, about 6 drafts - 3 of which seem to rotate, and a larger selection of bottled and canned beer.

Food is somewhat typical bar food, nachos chili cheese fries, sandwiches and a few variation on mac & cheese and burgers.

Ok place to bring your kids, but not much for them to do if you plan on staying long.

Have a couple events during the week such as poker night and karaoke

Great place. Great food, lots of options, the Rusty Reaper is brutally hot, get the sauce on the side is best. The expansion helped a ton with availability of seats. Staff rocks, TVs all over. It is loud, but what popular place isn't?! Kid friendly.

This place has been through multiple ownerships in the ten years I’ve lived here so I didn’t give “The Rusty Melon” much of a chance. My family and I went in and were blown away both by the service and the food. First the food... never frozen, great burgers and pasta made to order with a brand in the bun! Rusty the owner is behind the grill With the skill, and you’ll find great conversations with his wife Justine behind the bar!

Tonight we had a great time with Sophie taking care of us. What a treat! It’s so nice to find a place that cares about their customers like family. Food was amazing again, and we’ll be back. Glad you all came to Erie, we really needed it!

The Rusty’s melon is a great place! The food is amazing! The drinks are awesome! They have a great rotating draft list with bud, bud light, coors and Stella always on draft! The staff is amazing as well! The bar manager Sophie is great! The owners Rusty and Justine are great! They are kind and they know how to run an amazing place! Hands down the rusty melon is my favorite restaurant!

Justine and crew have done wonderful things with this establishment. The food and drinks are great and the staff always does a great job. All are attentive and have gone out of their way multiple times to accommodate our plans. They also employ the locals and give back to the community every chance they get. Great stewards and great people!! Will be bak as much as possible (mac and cheese and the wings are OUTSTANDING!!)
