“Five stars from the moment I walked in. Holy hell this place is incredible. Everyone working here is so nice, and so accommodating–I wanted to give 5 stars before even trying the food. Which is absolutely stunning-this is the best Mexican food I have ever had. It ruins anywhere else I could ever go. Please, if you go here, get the Albondigas. The soul in this dish is palpable. I’m really sad I’m only in town one night–but I am going to come back to Cortez just for this place. Absolutely world class joint!!”

“Everything deep fried was cooked perfectly and done so with clean oil. Fried rice was prepared exceptionally well with nothing over cooked and no bad ingredients, (i don't like onions so i like the easy to pick out bigger pieces of them) was very well balanced with ingredients to rice ratio. The regular white rice was cooked perfectly as well. Puffing and clumping together as white rice should. Pass by this place quite a bit. I regret not going in sooner.”

“Came in from out of town late at night and ordered delivery to my hotel room. As a fellow Domino’s employee from out of state, I can confirm that this is a quality store. My pizza was delivered hot and fresh within 15 minutes of ordering! My driver even brought plates and napkins for my order and I didn’t even need to ask! Would order again if I’m ever in Cortez again.”

“For Little Caesars, it was way overpriced. Yes, I get it, prices have gone up. The staff wasn't very helpful, the food was not so great, not was the pizza even cut, I had to cut it when I got home. We were told we had to wait 10 minutes for them to make our brownie, let alone it was in the fridge in a wrapper and was only 4 pieces, which I think is kinda small for the 4 dollars you pay(own opinion). I don't recommend going there, if you want Little Sleazers Pizza, I recommend going to 12th Street and Orchard. They've always treated me better there.”

“i got the cubano, and i wasn’t that impressed with the potato salad and the coleslaw. however, the food isn’t the only thing that goes into my reviews, considering that i likely could have gotten something else and enjoyed it better. the ambiance of this place is simply breathtaking, it gives the energy of a mom-and-pop cafe, and it’s beautiful. the little things like the decoration and the support of local businesses by selling their products in their small little gift shop is something that makes it a lot better. i would definitely recommend this place, minus the potato salad and the coleslaw.”

“We had a fabulous time at The Reckless Roadhouse. Louie and the Lizards played what a wonderful band. The service was great and efficient. I recommend the tacos they were the bomb. There is other options for food. It all looked great we plan on trying it all. This is our new hangout glad they opened.”

“The pizza's are delicious at this Domino's. There is a good amount of toppings and the pizza looks yummy. You can tell that the people who work here care about the food they are making and they are incredibly nice as well. This Domino's is so much better than the one in Rifle try it and see for yourself you won't be disappointed.”

“This is one of the most friendly and comfortable parks I’ve ever stayed at in my over 30 years of RVing! It’s not fancy, but it’s most certainly comfortable and welcoming. The owner, “Shane” has got to be one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and he made my wife and I feel more like we were staying with good friends rather than merely being guests at an RV park. Shane helped us to accommodate our extra vehicle and the small utility trailer it was towing in such a way that the trailer was convenient to us yet was not in anyone else’s way. When I had difficulty figuring out how to turn on the water at our site, he was right there solving the problem in a couple of minutes. Though the park seems to have quite a number of long term residents, it is homey, comfortable and quiet. Everyone seems to be very nice and friendly. The park features a pretty complete convenience store that was open from around 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM most days except Sunday when its hours were something like 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. The store features fresh, made to order pizza that’s very good at a very reasonable price. Many locals, including our son who we were visiting, stop by the store to get lunch and other supplies as the store is about the best stocked grocery store within miles. It has all of the usual convenience store stuff including 10 lb. bags of ice, milk, eggs, ice cream treats, and much more. The restroom / shower is modern, always very clean, properly stocked, well lit and open 24 hours with a push button combination lock for access during the hours when the store is closed. The sites are adequately spacious though not large, but our 30 ft. trailer, pickup and auxiliary SUV were easily accommodated at our site without being in anyone else’s way. Staying there in June as we did, it can get a bit hot during the day. Our site had a very nice tree that shaded the curbside of the trailer most of the afternoon, and the nights usually cooled off enough that it was unnecessary to run the AC at night. Also, a 15 minute drive up Colo. highway 65 will put you in alpine forests, loaded with tall Douglas Fir and aspen trees, wild flowers, dozens of crystal clear lakes with plenty of great fishing and with a temperature as much as 20 degrees cooler than at the park. Getting to the park from I-70 requires a winding 12 mile trip on Colo. 65 “up the canyon” on a well paved, well maintained road. While it is somewhat of a climb, the ascent is mostly pretty gradual with only a couple of quite short but reasonable grades. And it’s a positively beautiful drive. You may want to make sure you have your dash cam rolling just to record the wonderful scenery. Barely a mile away on highway 65 is an excellent “down home” restaurant, “The Wagon Wheel”, or simply “The Wheel” as it’s locally known. Outstanding American food with very generous portions, including simply great breakfasts starting at 8:00 AM. Like the park it’s homey, very comfortable, clean and the service is excellent. Don’t miss it! Overall, I strongly recommend Mesa RV Park. We spent nearly 3 weeks there visiting our son who lives about a mile away. About the only “down side” was that the park’s WiFi signal is very weak and we were unable to use it. But since we have our own hub with unlimited service, this was barely a minor inconvenience as the cell phone service at the park is strong and dependable.”

“I think our store is great! I have an adult disabled daughter who loves to go there & her & I have always been treated with kindness. We love our pizzas! During covid I do wish all patrons would wear a mask though. Thank you all who work so hard to keep our store running, you are appreciated!”

“Absolutely the best deli sandwich on the Western Slope and a bargain at the price. Better quality bread and ingredients than the regular chain places and much better customer service. Staff was friendly and helpful. The store is also a gem and has items you just don't find anywhere else. I highly recommend and will be stopping here again.”

“Great store! Spacious, clean, and friendly staff! Today was my first trip inside the new Domino's store. I typically use delivery or the pick-up window. I have been very satisfied with the experience from all 3 ordering/pick-up options. The interior of the store is very spacious and offers a nice clean and comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal.”

“As always a great selection of goodies as per usual. However the employee whose name tag says "Brand" is truly more focused on his phone than his job and seems highly irritated to have to deal with customers. Not once but twice now in my experience.”

“The store is big, nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The gas is not the cheapest in town, though, even with rewards. Go to Conoco in town for cheaper gas.”

“Went to this location going through town on a long trip. I tried two chicken sandwiches as a special, these were great. My friend tried the brisket and I laughed. The big sandwich on the display with mounds of meet and onion rings, looks closer to a basic roast beef without cheese. I felt the winner this night.”

“Nestled in the small city of Sift Colorado, this was a quaint and nice little gas station. The convenient store was well stocked with lots of selections. The bathrooms were actually nice and clean. That’s a big bonus for a gas station. The staff seemed helpful.”

“Good pizza when it's fresh. Doesn't reheat well. They won't split toppings into anything smaller than half. It is the best pizza currently in town though.”

“Very expensive, but I was able to order over the phone and they had it ready by the time I got there. They are kind of out of the way being on the corner of Florida Rd and Co. Rd. 250 so we do not get pizza there but the wife wanted their thin crust pizza, so I drove out of the way to get it.”

“Excellent crew and pizza, they put their all into it every day! :) The store is short staffed all the time and the customers are blantently abusive to the employees so they quit quickly. Let's show the workers some respect in these hard times. Also FYI, every time it rains or snows the business gets slammed and doesn't have the employees to keep up. Expect it!”

“Yum! The food was scalding hot, good portions, and well seasoned and tasty. Because the food is so fresh, be aware that the container can have a hard time holding together. They are only doing carryout, no dine in right now.”

“Excellent pizza overall. Two of us stopped to get pizza, one of us ordered regular pizza and I ordered Gluten Free. I ordered the Detroit style, Gluten Free pizza with Pepperoni's, Bell Peppers, and Arugula as my additional toppings. The Gluten Free Pizza was wonderful and I highly recommend it! Loved the casual atmosphere. It's definitely a cozy spot to dine in or take out. Wait staff was busy but attentive and helpful. Highly recommend!”
