“Thanks AGAIN Jess, this is first time for something other than breakfast or goodies. ALL the food was amazing and fresh we are glad you made our son's graduation meal a success. We (my husband mostly) always cooked for parties and spends more time in the kitchen than with people. This wax a welcome change and cannot express enough wow it was soo tasty. Yes we got sweets too the cake was great and having two different flavors was amazing. Thanks Again Jess we love having you here in our community.”

“Very impressed with Clark's Markets upscale additions and tons of new items. The store looks great and is the best in the past 10 years I have been shopping there. I was assisted by Jim and he told me of the over 2000 new items. I am so excited to try so many new offerings! The Clark's team has worked so hard and as a community member I am pleased to have such a wonderful store in town, and appreciate all the efforts that went into the new design. Thank you so much and looking forward to my next visit! Great job!!! -Jen”

“First of all the pretzels are so yummy!!! I’ve been a Wetzel’s Pretzels fan for quite some time and now I’m an even bigger fan because of the staff behind the counter at the Mesa mall location in Grand Junction, CO. For those who may not know, customer service is one of the hardest jobs on the planet and the girl behind the counter at this location is on it! Her customer service skills are amazing and she handles the crowds very well. I’m adding this to my previous review for a few reasons. First of all because of the staff I see on a regular basis (who have become more like friends) I have decided to leave a $3 tip every time I come here. It’s because I want to, not because I have to. Relative to other businesses I think the prices are fine. Inflation stinks all around. Makes me sad to see some of the rude comments some people leave. What they fail to realize is that customer service is one of the hardest jobs on the planet. I wish those people would remember that before leaving a review that’s not very nice. If the roles were reversed I wonder how they would feel on the receiving end of that. Regardless I hope the owner sees this and that I can’t wait to get my next wetzel’s pretzel!”

“We stopped by on our way through town, and got ice cream: chocolate, "sleepless" (coffee flavor with chocolate covered espresso beans), and mint chip, as well as a hummingbird and a wedding cake cupcake. All three ice creams were fantastic, with a lovely soft texture and great flavors! The cupcakes were moist and full of flavor, with absolutely delicious icong on top! Added bonus, both ladies were very nice and helpful. All in all, it was a highlight of our drive so far!”

“Can’t say enough about this quaint and super cool breakfast and lunch spot. Clearly all the licals know it well as the best place for quality food at a good price and excellent service. I got the veggie omelette three days in a row. It was super flavorful and healthy. Hash browns were cooked crispy. Alec was our server and gave me hiking tips too. He was great! He was friendly and on the ball. The day before Dianna served us and she got us out the door quickly for our train ride in Durango. She brought a huge smile and super fun energy. Thanks Alec and Dianna!!”

“I travel a lot, by car, across the US, stopping in many non-destination areas, and wherever I land, I find coffee joints to grab a plain latte. It's not extremely common to find a coffee shop with someone running the bar who can pull a wonderful shot. The espresso was strong, smoothly bitter, and offered a deep flavor. The milk was correctly steamed and not split or too hot. The employees were so nice and held a great conversation as they worked, and the environment is really unique - an old Texaco station turned into a coffee bar and an actual bar on the other side. I'll absolutely return the next time in in Durango. It's worth the stop, even if you're just driving through.”

“one of my favorite cafes in GJ! been here a couple of times with my bf & we’ve both enjoyed their breakfast burritos! he has gotten The Hulk smoothie, and I ALWAYS get the iced cuban coffee. SO delicious! the staff are so kind and patient when taking your order. so many different seating options, and there’s even cute little tables outside! as a temporary GJ resident, I will try to come back here as much as possible before we leave.”

“Great coffee and yummy food, a great stop on between outdoor activities! I especially appreciate that when I asked for just a little bit of flavoring in my coffee, they followed through without overdoing it. They also realized that my partner and I were splitting a burrito and made sure to put it on separate plates for us. Super thoughtful.”

“This place speaks my love language: coffee and desserts made from scratch on the premises! I had the lemon cheesecake and it is the best I have ever had! I also had a Campfire Micha coffee and it did not disappoint. I also couldn't resist getting a Lavender Honey cake pop for later. If you go anywhere near Grand Junction do not make the mistake of not going to Sugar & Ice!”

“We really enjoyed the shop, food, and coffee. Cannot recommend enough, was our favorite spot during our trip. Can’t wait to come back. We had the chipotle turkey sandwich, and it was enough food my boyfriend and I could have split one instead of getting our own (and we like to eat). The cold brew is great by itself but the honeybee was delicious. My boyfriend recommends the caramel latte, it wasn’t too sweet. Thanks for the great service!”

“I grew up eating at this Village Inn location. It’s nice to see that some of the staff are still working there. I enjoy the familiar faces and atmosphere. My most recent visit was absolutely wonderful. We were greeted and sat right away. Our waitress was extremely attentive, polite and friendly. She’s one of the workers whose been there for a while. The food came out exactly how we ordered it and in no time. I appreciate the easy location, helpful staff and delicious food! You truly can’t go wrong with Village Inn!”

“Not usually a “take a photo of my food” person, but this was without a doubt the best dip I’ve had. Was able to crank out a few emails while waiting for my food, and this beautiful treasure arrived at the end of my day…will be back for sure. Bread was perfect, crunchy enough to keep from being soggy but soft enough to not be burnt. Meat and dip was excellent very hot; the fries were absolutely amazing as was the provided sauce.”

“We stayed in Cortez, CO on our way to Mesa Verde and I looked up a bakery to stop at. The Pie Maker had great reviews and looked friendly! They were open for order pickups on Saturday, we were there on Tuesday. I reached out before we left on our road trip and they stayed in touch with me and we arranged a time I could pick up our order. The mini strawberry-rhubarb pies are great you’ll taste both flavors! The mini apple pie crumble is crunchy and there’s a little extra cinnamon kick with the apples. We also got some cookies. The molasses cookies were awesome, and the peanut butter cookies deserve a big glass of milk! Excellent customer care and friendly shop!”

“i got the cubano, and i wasn’t that impressed with the potato salad and the coleslaw. however, the food isn’t the only thing that goes into my reviews, considering that i likely could have gotten something else and enjoyed it better. the ambiance of this place is simply breathtaking, it gives the energy of a mom-and-pop cafe, and it’s beautiful. the little things like the decoration and the support of local businesses by selling their products in their small little gift shop is something that makes it a lot better. i would definitely recommend this place, minus the potato salad and the coleslaw.”

“Offers a Gluten Free bagel. The bagel comes wrapped in foil. Which makes it easy to carry, if you are on the go. The jalapeño cheddar cream cheese was fabulous. I definitely can't wait to come back and try some if their beverages (Alcoholic and non alcoholic). 😋”

“We came for an early lunch and I had a garden salad with anchovies and a boiled egg. I needed something light but ended up walking out of there with a cream puff and bread pudding, which I ate later. That bread pudding is something else!! There were so many delectable looking desserts to choose from it was almost overwhelming.”

“Great spot to stop in and pick out a yummy treat. Coffee is delicious. I had the raised cinnamon donut which was huge!! It was good but not yum enough to have a second time. Today I picked out a giant ginger snap cookie. It is very yummy, though hasn't outdone my favorite spot in Greenville N.C. They have breakfast burritos and many other great choices. The seating area inside and outside is very cozy and welcoming. Really cute spot.”

“I REALLY DO like sugar Mama's. Their in house baking and coffee is great. What isn't up to snuff is there breakfast sandwich... A. I can tell that is a bulk bought bagel. Thats fine, you can't bake EVERYTHING. You should however buy bagels up to snuff with in house baked goods. B. What is this pile of flavorless moosh on it? It's basically Impossible to eat without the entire contents in your hand and lap. Not to mention the egg seems to have no salt And pepper and just runs into the very pointless cream cheese. It's not that hard to cook an egg and use good quality bagels. For $11 a bagel sandwich should be pretty darn on point.”

“The cindabun (like a morning bun or cinnamon rile) is so very good. One of the best if not the best I’ve had and I’ve had a lot. Other pastries I’ve had here are also very good. The espresso is just fair, which is why I didn’t give this place a 5. The shop itself has a great coffee shop vibe and is almost always hopping.”
