I had my birthday dinner here and it was a great experience! Food was delicious and amazing! Small menu but everyone enjoyed their meal! The staff was so pleasant. The chef and owner checked in on us a few times throughout our stay! Only thing I would recommend is faster drink service. The bar was backed up. Overall 9.9/10

I have not dined in a restaurant in ct where everything we ordered was mouthwatering tasty! Impeccable! It was 11 of us , not a large menu yet. We all tasted something from each other so we almost had the whole menu at our table. AMAZING!

I don’t give 5 often but this restaurant was delicious. Yes drink service was a little slow, apps were served before drinks but the service was friendly. Drinks were yummy and food delicious. Carrot appetizer was fresh and the sauce had a great tang. Short rib and polenta did not disappoint. Beat salad also flavorful. Would have liked some bread to sop up all of the sauces on the apps, so good. Shrimp and grits were some of the best I have had. I get them often and am usually disappointed because for me the sauce over powers the grits and shrimp but this one did not it was a great accompaniment. Half chicken was crispy and juicy and the only criticism I can give for the potatoes is the we needed more? They were delicious. Gnocchi and chicken sandwich were also tasty. Brownie with mint ice cream was delicious. Brownie was so rich but the mint ice cream was a great offset. Espresso tasted more like regular coffee than espresso but that is the only thing that was not too notch. Will definitely return.

Please believe five stars are not enough for this restaurant. The decor is beautiful and swanky and cozy. The staff is extremely warm and welcoming. The food....the food....it may be the best tasting and beautifully presented that I have had in a long time. I ordered the short ribs and polenta as well as the broccolini. My husband had the caesar salad and crab and rice balls. I can't stop thinking about the broccolini dish. It was perfect in every way. It was spicy and creamy and the vegetables were cooked to absolute perfection. The short rib/polenta dish was so flavorful and creamy. The caesar had toasted panko rather than bread crumbs and it's definitely the way to go. Great, strong cocktails as well. We were so impressed and can not wait to return!!! Keep up the good work! WOW.

Excellent food, great atmosphere and even better service. Those are the adjectives I would use to describe this restaurant. My friends and I had the opportunity to experience this eatery this past Sunday night and it did not disappoint. We decided to take a more family style approach to the courses, so we had the opportunity to try many dishes. For starters we tried the roasted glazed carrots, Manmita’s black rice and crab, fish and pickled chilis tacos and the braised short rib polenta. The standout for the entire table was the Manmita’s black rice and crab balls, named for the owners mother, these rice balls were filled with flavor and had a rich & creamy texture . For dinner we opted to try the Smoked half bird, Smoked fried chicken sandwich, Halibut fillet and the Gnocchi. As we were dining we were informed that the concept of the restaurant is “Farm to Table” this element shines through with each dish that was presented particularly with the halibut. The halibut was placed on a smoked corn purée, which combined was a perfect marriage of the two. Another part of the dinner I enjoyed was the fact that although we ate a ton of food we did not feel overly full. This wasn’t due to the portion sizes, but due to them using vegetables in creative ways as side dishes. This innovative method of cooking should be incorporated in more restaurants. Overall, this location did not disappoint. We left satisfied and eager to return to try the rest of the menu. Kudos to the staff and owners.
