“I don’t give 5 often but this restaurant was delicious. Yes drink service was a little slow, apps were served before drinks but the service was friendly. Drinks were yummy and food delicious. Carrot appetizer was fresh and the sauce had a great tang. Short rib and polenta did not disappoint. Beat salad also flavorful. Would have liked some bread to sop up all of the sauces on the apps, so good. Shrimp and grits were some of the best I have had. I get them often and am usually disappointed because for me the sauce over powers the grits and shrimp but this one did not it was a great accompaniment. Half chicken was crispy and juicy and the only criticism I can give for the potatoes is the we needed more? They were delicious. Gnocchi and chicken sandwich were also tasty. Brownie with mint ice cream was delicious. Brownie was so rich but the mint ice cream was a great offset. Espresso tasted more like regular coffee than espresso but that is the only thing that was not too notch. Will definitely return.”
