If you have never been - please go and treat yourself to the crunchiest wings and the most amazing japchae you could possibly eat locally. The owner was super friendly and spent time talking about the Korean dishes and how they were made. Being Irish and Korean I promise this place is the real deal.
Bonchon is one of my favorite places to eat currently. I enjoy the Chicken Catsu and their spicy chicken wings. The staff is always excellent and friendly at the Fairfield location.
Pro tip: if you don't know Korean spicy, ask for a half order. It's spicy.
Delicious bonchon though!
The fried rice was OK. The place is clean & the hostess is friendly. The waitresses were on their phones by the computer a lot, not that they were negligent but you had to flag one down.
I was excited to hear that a Korean Fried Chicken restaurant was In Fairfield County. To be honest, I never heard about Bonchon until a friend of mine told me about it a month ago. I had to get to Fairfield to try these wings. We weren’t sure which flavors to try, so we decided to go with their spicy and sweet crunch. The wait for the wings is about a half an hour, so we went back to our car and waited. We were impressed, the manager of the restaurant (I believe), brought our wings to us. That definitely got extra points from us. As for the wings, the spicy wings are definitely spicy. They are no joke, but the combination of spicy and sweet is delicious. I would absolutely get them again. When it comes to the sweet crunch, not so much. I will start with the positive. The crunch on the sweet crunch wing is amazing and the wings are large. The negative: they have a weird smell I couldn’t get past. That almost was a deal breaker. I tried them anyway. The sweet isn’t very sweet. I was hoping for more. They have some seasoning on them that that my palate just doesn’t want. We also got their seasoned fries and weren’t impressed. We probably should have gotten the fried rice. They have another wing flavor that we would like to try. They also have some more traditional Korean foods that we’d like to try as well. All in all, they are a quality restaurant but I think we ordered two misses. We probably will try again. Watch our review.

The best wings in town, not even close. Super crunchy, huge drum sticks, and well sauced. The place is brand new and looks great instead. Pretty cool looking bar in the back and plenty of TV screens to catch a game.
