Stopped for lunch and ordered a fried eggplant sandwich with mozzarella, roasted red pepper, arugula and pesto on freshly made sourdough bread. It was incredible! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There is also a nice outdoor patio to relax and enjoy your treat. It's definitely on my favorite list.
I was able to finally get to this bakery today. The cafe itself is adorable and set up beautifully. It was very clean and had clear instruction on how to order/pay/etc. The staff was very kind. The food was AMAZING!! The dirt bombs are highly recommended, and I had them slice up the deli rye bread as a gift to my Dad who LOVES this type of bread. He said it was the best he ever had. I also bought a loaf of sour dough and I will be using it for spinach dip this weekend. 100% recommend this place!
The staff was plenty & eager to help us. We sampled the chocolate chip cookie, the brownie, dirt bombs, & mango croissant. I thought the cookie was delicious, devine dark chocolate chunks, semi moist texture on the cookie, pleasantly unlike most bakeries. The dirt bombs were exquisite boulder type cinnamon donuts. The mango croissant was my daughters, she said it was flaky, with fresh mango topping, and creamy filling in the center. The handmade rolling pin wall decor is a must see if you visit!
This place is one of a kind. A gem in Newtown. Delicious fresh baked bread that’s off the charts. Selection of baked goods to satisfy every sweet tooth.
Had the Avocado Toast with smoked salmon that might have been the best I have ever had. They have salads and sandwiches that looked amazing which I am looking forward to trying over the course of one of my frequent return visits.
Tons of outdoor seating and the owner and staff couldn’t be friendlier.
We stopped in for breakfast on a road trip. The staff was so friendly and kind. We got to meet "Uncle Matt". When we told him our daughter was an aspiring baker, he gave her his business card and told her to email any questions she had and even shared a recipe with her. The cafe is lovely inside and out. Our breakfast was really delicious. We each got something different- granola bar, poppyseed muffin, dirt bomb, and chocolate croissant. Yum! Stop by and support this local business!!
