The cinnamon raisin bagels are my breakfast favorite and "The Classic" (bagel sandwich with lox, cream cheese, lettuce, tomato, capers and onions) is to die for. “The food is definitely very good. I would say it's on par with Jewel of Himalaya in terms of quality. However, the take-out portions - especially lunch - are disappointing for price. At Kolam down the road, you get 2x the food (can feed 2 people) for the same price and their food is also good. At Jewel of Himalaya (also down the road), you get almost 2x the food for about the same price. Perhaps if they made their lunch entree portions larger rather than in a small container, I would rate 5 stars as Tamarind's food really is good quality. I don't mind paying for quality food, but only when the portions actually fill you up. 4 other people here complaining about portion sizes - perhaps time to take a message.”

“I stopped in with a party of 5 on a busy Saturday night, and we were seated right away. This place has a fun atmosphere with friendly service and a huge menu with lots of options. All of our food was great. You can tell they know what they’re doing in the kitchen; our wings and bar-type food were just as perfectly cooked as the upscale HUGE New York strip steak another member of our party ordered. They even bake all of their grinder rolls on-site each morning. We’ll be back again soon!”

“Today was my first time here and as people with would it’s a hidden gem! I got the Bourbon Steak Grinder and it was absolutely amazing, great seasoning the only thing I would change is that it was cooked at least medium but it was still tender enough, that’s not enough to remove a star. Also the coffee here is really good nice and bold and not too acidic. Definitely worth stopping in!”

“It isn't every day you see a town with a restaurant themed after that town. The historical significance coupled with the fact that the Inn used to be someones house make for great atmosphere. Plus you eat right on main street. I personally love the food. I can't say what because the menu constantly changes, but I can't say I've ever not been pleased with the food. I only wish the pricing was more reasonable and the dinning room at the same charm as the tap room”

“I was able to finally get to this bakery today. The cafe itself is adorable and set up beautifully. It was very clean and had clear instruction on how to order/pay/etc. The staff was very kind. The food was AMAZING!! The dirt bombs are highly recommended, and I had them slice up the deli rye bread as a gift to my Dad who LOVES this type of bread. He said it was the best he ever had. I also bought a loaf of sour dough and I will be using it for spinach dip this weekend. 100% recommend this place!”
