(February 13, 2019, 12:12 am)Super cozy mom and pop diner spot. Hidden in downtown Shelton. We've been missing out! We've been going here for a little while now though. The food is great and so is the customer service. Have yet to try the ice cream but will soon!

(January 25, 2019, 6:45 pm)I was in Shelton for work today and just popped in to Sassafras for a quick lunch (it’s Friday around 1pm). Glad I did! The service was fast and friendly, the restaurant was inviting and the food was great. I had a Cobb salad with grilled buffalo chicken. It was a large salad with lots of chicken and toppings and I’m very satisfied. Thanks for a great lunch on the go!
