My wife and I went there for Valentines dinner and we had a great time! The food was very tasty and great ambiance with life music. A special thanks to Kevin, the main chef, who personally came out to check if we were enjoying the food. He gracefully offered a valentines desert on the house (chocolate lava w ice cream) which was sooo good! Definitely recommend it!
My wife and I went here for Valentine's Day. I usually do not go to restaurants connected to Hotel's because I have have had mixed experiences. V-Day being important to us this was a gamble for me. I read reviews that were very positive so we went. I can say this was an excellent experience!!!! The grilled octopus app was so tender and cooked to perfection. The Scallops and Mushroom risotto were amazing my wife could not have been happier. To top it off the owner happened to be in the lobby when we left, thanked us and help our belongings as the Manager took a picture of us!!! Excellent experience, I would highly recommend.
I came here around 1 on a Saturday and it was completely empty... Maybe because it is so hard to find the entrance. Service was attentive and food was generally good. I had the steak and it was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. My wife had a salad and it was a little disappoing as it was mostly lettuce wirh just a few pecans and other toppings. Overall good, and will prob come back.
Best eggplant rollatini I've ever had.
Impeccable service.
Inspired cheesecake creme brulée.
Generous portions.
I loved its predecessor in the space but this is a worthy successor.
Jumped off I-95 for a bite while traveling, stumbled upon this quaint Italian restaurant within the friendly confines of UConn. Restaurant is attached to a hotel. Was clean with excellent bathrooms. I ordered a salad and added salmon for $6, which was a healthy addition to my plate. My wife ordered cheese ravioli and a glass of wine. I ordered an espresso, which was appropriately bitter and necessary for my continued travels. Total meal was in the $50s, about right for the venue and quality of the meal. We enjoyed a quiet meal with a romantic feel. Highly recommended.
