Uncle D's Diner

My review must have been liked since I'm asked to do it again ????????.
I've eaten at this location many a times, under different restaurant name and ownership.
Uncle D's is by far a much better diner than the previous restaurants.
Staff is great and so is the food.
Hours are a bit short, but that just might be a good thing.
I am definitely recommending this restaurant for a nice breakfast or brunch.
How can you go wrong when your granddaughter is all smiles for Mickey Mouse chocolate chip pancakes with bacon?

This spot has always been a restaurant, place changed hands many times in my 44 years of living in this area. I ate there before when the restaurant had different names. Food was always decent. I visited Uncle D's this past Saturday for Mother's Day breakfast. Even though the place was packed and we had to wait a bit it was well worth it. Service was excellent, food was excellent. There was even a gentleman playing a guitar live, right there in front of us. I don't have enough thumbs to give them so many as many as I'd like. It was a great dining experience. How bad can it be when my grandkids got their pancakes shaped as Mickey Mouse? (See attached pic)
If you are in the area, you must visit Uncle D's Diner. You will not be disappointed.

Great food and great service. You don’t have to wait long to get in, and the food comes out at the perfect time. Uncle D’s would be a go to place for me to come again in need of a good breakfast and lunch.

A throw back to Cheers where all staff remembers your name! Great food no matter what you order, served with fresh ingredients with reasonable prices and excellent service. Great for families where everyone can have the meal of their choice because of the large variety of food served.

What a great place! Great food options, atmosphere, and service. I live right down the road and let me tell you the parking lot is always jam packed because Uncle D’s is clearly doing something right!!! They have fun events like cars shows too. A wonderful addition to Berlin. Authentic diner interior. The best diner that has been in the spot. Used to be the only building in the plaza long ago, cool history.
