Cozy atmosphere with superb food and attentive wait staff. The calamari, salmon, steak and rigatoni dishes are fabulous. Lots of flavors and great presentation. The cheesecake melts in your mouth. The tiramisu is a big slice so be ready for it.

Closest to a New York City dining experience. The real deal. Simply stated: perfect.

food was very good and came out quite fast especially for a party of 7. Liked the ambiance we were with my grandparents who we have to be careful of places that get to loud but despite it being a Saturday night we still felt like we had some privacy

Sad to say, My first impression of the place was not the best. What brought me there was seeing this place listed in Hartford's Best Magazine. I greeted the hostess with a smile and was curtly asked,"Do you have a reservation?". She was not very welcoming.I responded no. The man next to her (Who I believe was a manager with a white jacket) swooped in, took over, and sat us down. Very gentlemanly. The waitress was fine. Let's talk about this food though! The pizza was warm, fresh,and oh so flavorful. I highly recommend the chocolate hazelnut mousse cake - heavenly, I tell you.

Overall, the environment was lovely .I just can't get over the bad first impression.

Delicious meal with helpful staff. I had the mustard salmon which was full of flavor. My husband had the kale salad to start & it had to be one of the best I've ever had. The octopus starter was grilled to perfection and we were thrilled to find out they could make a meat and cheese board even though the menu lists them separately.
Red wine tip - the Gertrude is crazy delicious and very reasonably priced.
