“I have mixed feelings about Rose's, as the place seems to be winding down, as the owner may be selling out gradually? The pick your own strawberries are very pricey, as are the frozen blueberries, which are of excellent quality. The Christmas tree farm aspect seems to be diminishing, as no new trees appear to be planted. As to the Sunday brunch June--October, there is no question that the view from their deck is beautiful, the food is good and is reasonably priced. However, the deck can get very hot in the sun during the summer. Also, the Sunday brunch is a side operation, so the food will come over very slowly. The wait staff seems uncertain at times and always behind, so you will have to wait awhile for your food, after they take your order. Furthermore, the lines are very long, and the deck is full of families with small children that are mostly impatient and quite vocal, so it feels like a zoo sometimes. So be prepared. If you want a quiet Sunday brunch, this is not the place. Lovely location and a great place to visit during the week for produce in season.”

“We got in on a Thursday night around 5 pm and we were seated pretty quickly despite the busyness in the restaurant. We ordered steak fajitas and a side of black beans and rice. We got out for under $40 for two people. The fajitas were the best skirt steak fajitas that I have had in a long time. I would definitely recommend this for a date night location.”

“I was on holidays in the area. Happened by this place. Great food, fresh and homemade. I loved the pancakes and on another occasion I had the burger. The burger was one of the best I have had. “We have eaten here several times for lunch and dinner. The meals are consistently outstanding! The food is very fresh and flavorful. The menu has many choices with a nice selection of meats ( beef chicken, pork, seafood ) to customize your meal. While not my choice, there is also a wide variety of sushi available as well. The coconut soup is over the top good! The service here is excellent, and the staff very friendly. The owners take obvious joy in their food, and are very proud if you enjoy it, which you will!”

“We are regulars at Siam of Glastonbury and have been since it opened. Many of our friends are as well. The food is consistently very good and the staff friendly and competent. There are many tasty and healthy dishes. Thai food tends to be more healthy then other types. I always order the shrimp, mango and avocado salad (excellent) and Thai Iced Tea which is very good and refreshing. Nelson and Tammy are very knowledgeable about wines and mixed drinks. The Madame Kati cocktail is delicious! However, the food and service is what makes this restaurant a gem! Try it!”

“Quirky arrangement but it worked as far as unique, enjoyable experience. They fit a lot of round tables in this antique house making movement a little bit tricky. The food was quite outstanding and the service unbelievable. It was nice that they offered photos to download on their website(although I have not seen them yet as they become available in a few more days). There was a live barber shop quartet at the front of the house and a pianist in our back room. Warning: the chocolate truffles are too good and it is impossible to stop at eating "just one."(there's no limit)”
