The food was delicious. The service was great. We went during the week for lunch. I plan on returning. Maybe check out their happy hour.
I stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon to watch football with some friends and was happy to see it was open. When you look the place up on Google it says that it is closed on Sundays but a sign outside the restaurant says that they are open before, during and after UConn games. Lucky for me there was a UConn game that day! The free weekend street parking in Hartford is definitely something to take advantage of if you don't mind a short walk.
The inside is decorated inside fine and all the servers and bartenders said hello immediately. They were attentive and checked on me frequently. If you are a gin drinker they only have Bombay and Beefeater at the bar, just something to keep in mind, but overall I got a good drink. The food was good, needed a bit of salt but overall good. I would just say that for the price I would have liked a bit more food. Also, the Sunday menu was different than the lunch and dinner menu online. I'm assuming its smaller because they aren't typically open Sundays per Google, so another thing to keep in mind that there aren't as many options Sundays.
Overall I'd say good. If you like Italian food stop in and see what you think!
Love this place. Cool little bar in the front but in the back opens up to a very secret dining area. Food is so good- this is my third time this week. :’)
Hidden Gem in Hartford. Authentic Italian. Classic spaghetti and meatballs are excellent. Knowledgeable staff. Nice bar. Delicious wine selection.
