Best BBQ that I have eaten in Hartford! The chicken and waffles were surprisingly great. The way they fry chicken is just down home goodness. The flavors from the ribs, beef brisket and chicken were savory with just the right amount of sweet. The rib meat did not quite fall off the bone, but they had awesome smokey flavor. The fixings were next level with melt in your mouth cornbread and red beans & rice. We will be going back soon. Bonus, walking distance to the XL center.

We like a lot eating out. Yesterday we came to this excellent place which friends recommended to us. We had a delightful evening there with first-rate cooking and a well-trained team and a distinguished chief cook. We put this place in our phone list and we will no doubt return soon. We highly recommend.

Blues and BBQ, two of my favorite things combined. How bad could it be? Often I go to a BBQ place and say well this was good but that could have been better, not here. Everything from the cornbread to the slaw and especially the brisket was amazing. Loved every bite. Great service to top it off. My only disappointment was being too full for dessert. Next time I'll leave room!
