Nicolas Pizza & Mexican Eatery

Excellent tacos! Authentic as they come. Had the beef tacos are well seasoned crumbled beef on fresh fried super crunchy shell. Also had the chicken on soft tacos...doubled soft corn shells with deliciously flavored chicken chunks with all the fixin's. Salsa Verde is amazing. Rice and refried black beans really good too. Mexican sodas. Will def be back!!

By far the best Mexican I have ever had. The crunchy beef tacos are incredible. Fully stuffed and an amazing crunchy shell which I think might be deep fried. This seems to be more of a take-out than sit in restaurant, though they do have a couple tables. If you are a fan of Mexican, you must give this place a shot, much better than any others in the Newington area. The Al Pastor sandwich is also great (marinated pork, avocado, cheese, peppers) on an amazing warm bread.

The pizza is awesome too, but the Mexican dishes are far superior to any other Mexican food I've had in the greater hartford area.

Delicious burritos and tacos!! After trying 4 different Mexican restaurants in Connecticut I have finally met one that meets El Paso TX standards! Friendly staff here

Consistently good authentic Mexican food. I've liked everything I've tried here. The beef crunchy tacos are my go-to meal. Two of those is a decent meal. I love their burritos too, but they are almost too filling for me for lunch. I guess I don't have to eat the whole thing but it's hard to stop because it tastes so good. I like the food and I like supporting local businesses, so I go here any time I'm hungry and in the area. Great food for after 4:20 too!

At first I questioned how good the food could be from a place that does Mexican food and pizza...but I am happy to say that everything from this place has been awesome. The Mexican food is authentic and on point. The pizza is pretty darn good too. My only suggestion is that they provide more salsa verde, I cant get enough of that stuff.

Delivery is a plus too for those drunken munchies
