I’m not a Pizza person, but this one is actually worth trying, I like it allot. I also like extra crispy chicken, allot of places I ordered chicken, you get saggy chicken skin, they make extra crispy if you request. Their set up inside is cute, could need little update, but not to bad. I definitely recommend you to try this Pizza place if you live locally.”

They clearly know their returning regulars and clearly appreciate them. They treat older customers with respect and dignity. I'm a big fan of their lasagna platter. It's just the way that I like it, and the sauce is excellent. I love how, because we used to order it with great regularity at certain holidays, they would call to "confirm our order" even though we hadn't placed it yet. It really made us feel like our business was wanted and appreciated. I also like how the staff deals with customers that come in with complex orders. I've seen more than a few customers making extremely complex orders but the staff didn't flinch, eye-roll or make any signs that might indicate how difficult the order might be. They really, really get it.”

The 3 types of peirogies (meat, potato and cheese, and saurkraut/mushroom) are all awesome and you can ask for a mix of all three flavors so you can try them all. I also tried the stuffed cabbage which was quite tasty as well. It's stuffed with rice, meat, and spices in a tomato-based sauce. I think I'll be a regular here for as long as I'm in the area!”

“The outside building is dated, but the food was surprisingly delicious and I was impressed. Don't count Olympia diner out as a destination for good affordable fare. I ordered a Reuben and it was the best tasting Reuben I have ever had. The corned beef was tender and the rye was buttery and the salad was crisp and fresh. The balsamic dressing was high end not flat. The children had hot dogs which were a foot long and hamburger bigger than a saucer. Well done not burnt. Compared to other local restaurants the prices were more than fair and I would drive from Hartford to Newington late night for good food and the waitress was attentive and friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my visit. Other customers were commenting about their good food as well.”

“I love the food here, and used to go very frequently. Sadly the last 3 times I went the service wasnt how it used to be. I still will go every once in a while but found a new place that has more authentic food and is faster than I've ever seen. So until this place picks up the pace then I'd rather go elsewhere when I'm paying a decent amount for food. The last time I went they came by the table twice for drink order and for food orders otherwise it was delivered by someone else, and we waited so long we had to ask someone else for the check.”
