Millwright's Restaurant and Tavern

This place was great! We were greeted by the friendly hosts and taken to a table with a wonderful view of the waterfall. Our server, Kris, was an awesome blend of subtle service and excellent recommendations. The food was a fantastic adventure, from the unique cocktails to the exquisite entrees, this was a treat.

Coming from MA, it was well worth the hour drive for brunch. I typically do not write reviews, however we were very impressed with the overall ambiance and quality of food. As for the wait staff, the younger boy named Fayson was obliging and very detail oriented (which is always appreciated when we go out). My only complaint would be that the mimosas had a bit too much orange juice for our liking. All in all, we will definitely be back.

Went for brunch and it's just delightful. Bottomless mimosas, build your own bloody Mary bar! The food was excellent, as was the service. I think reservations are recommended for any visit, but there were plenty of tables open at brunch it you just walked it. Lovely to sit in the dining room with this out the window. Gorgeous natural light foods the room!

This was our first visit to Millwright's and we were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. The staff went above and beyond with a card and exceptional treatment. They made it very special! We both ordered the 7 course meal and it was an incredible experience. We were blown away by the flavors, presentation, our server and the overall ambience. Thank you for making it such a memorable and special evening for us!! Highly recommend!

Millwright's has been on our list for a while now and I'm glad we finally made the drive to check it out. This was by far the best meal I have had in Connecticut! From start to finish everything was delicious and the flavors of everything worked so well together. My wife and I did the prix fixe menu and we were not let disappointed. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant and the service was on point. I really did not want the meal to end, but left with an incredible experience. If I were to give one piece of criticism, it would be to the old fashioned. I expected a restaurant of this caliber to use a single large ice cube, but the glass was filled with small chip ice. I certainly did not go thirsty, as there were plenty of other delicious cocktails to choose from. I cannot wait to make our next reservations to come back!
