Went the other day with some friends and they had live music setting up when we were eating, which added a fun vibe to the barbecue joint. I had the cornbread, which came with cinnamon butter and was great and also the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with fries. The fries were so good! The pork was great as well. It came with the Carolina mustard sauce on it but you had sauces at your table to add as well. I personally preferred their Original Sauce to their Carolina sauce
I am not a big fan of BBQ and I was blown away. I had the special and it was phenomenal. Great service as well. I high recommend it!
Came in on a Saturday night, my bartender Anthony absolutely made my night! Awesome drinks, I had an amazing brisket grilled cheese and a phenomenal experience. Now I've been bothering all my friends to go back! There's quite a few things on the menu I'm excited to try, and I will definitely be going back!
Excellent service, excellent food. We were seated promptly, order taken posthaste. Pleasant atmosphere even though it was very busy. If anyone is thinking of trying it out, do it. I never give 5 stars so don't take that as an indication
I was pretty blown away by this place. As a part of Hartford Restaurant Group, I had come to expect a pleasant ambiance, friendly staff, but around average food and drink when it came to the price point.
Not so with Que. Aside from the rather annoying name (is it pronounced like the letter, or like the Spanish 'what'? Turns out, the letter), the quality of this place pleasantly surprised me. The price point is slightly higher end, edging closer to $20 for single meals, but the quality of the food is very, very good. The cocktails were inventive and delicious, and worth their price point. I got a couple of Queen Street Sours, shown in the picture below, and they were great.
For food, I took advantage of their meat selection, opting for pulled pork and brisket, with corn bread and pickled vegetables for my sides. Everything was delicious, particularly the brisket, and the flavors were enhanced by standout sauces served at the table (Texas Heat deserves particular acknowledgment).
Just very impressed overall with the quality of the food, the service, the drinks, the ambiance, everything! Will definitely be coming back to this place.
