The Art of Yum - Southington

This was my first time trying The Art of Yum. The corn beef hash was delicious and full of flavor. I also had a farmers omelette and it hit the spot. We weren’t able to finish and had leftovers throughout the day. 🤤 🤤 🤤

I consider myself a foodie in every way. I’ve dined in many a 5 star restaurant and this place has far exceeded all of them. The executive chef and his beautiful wife made my 12th anniversary so extremely special and intimate. From the curry chicken soup to the seafood to the trio dessert with crown royal blueberry cobbler, this place is as unique, customer service friendly and delectable as your wildest dreams. Top notch in every way. Will NOT disappoint.

The Art of Yum is a wonderful new addition to the Neighborhood. The food was incredible! It is an adorable establishment that is clearly owned by someone with deep passion for their craft. After finishing my meal (chicken and waffles- to die for!) I noticed the artwork overhead was a gorgeous abstract painting, but when I looked closely I realized it was composed of old menus and receipts from the restaurant. I asked our server about it, because it was clearly someone involved with the business that made it. She informed us that the owner made ALL of the art. This spoke volumes. It was obvious that we were dining at someone’s “baby”. It made it THAT much better. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!

And honestly, the service was great! Our server was clearly new and I was in no rush to leave. I am astonished by the negative reviews, because this place is new! Give them a minute to sort out their kinks- they’re obviously working very hard. We can’t wait to return.

Great food and cozy atmosphere. Service was a little slow but that’s normal for a new location. Excited to have this place in the area and looking forward to returning. Breakfast was incredible, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, all perfect. Chicken and waffles done right. Don’t miss out.

Friendly service and delicious food! I’ve been there multiple times since they first opened just a couple of weeks ago and each meal was amazing. Presentation was picture perfect. I’m a chef myself and I highly recommend you check this place out! You won’t be disappointed!
