Max's Oyster Bar

Service was great, food was good which isn't a bad thing. You can tell they really focus on their chilled seafood towers. We had someone in our party that ordered the pot and asked for the kimchi on the side due to the spices but it was mixed in which caused some issues. I would definitely recommend this place but make sure to make a reservation.

Simply delicious. The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. Ambience was relaxing, food and drinks outstanding. Will definitely go again.

Fantastic table server on this particular trip. Food has yet to disappoint, seafood tower with over 10 items was fresh, delicious and great presentation. I come up 2-3x a year from Florida to visit best friend, its great to get back to New Eng. each season, and awesome to drop in on Max' Seafood, Yummmmy

Wonderful place to have fresh seafood and great drinks.
The short rib is amazing. Buratta,to die for. Servers are good for the most part. I typically request “Saki” because she’s such a sweet soul. But tonight we had Tina, and she was amazing as well. Definitely recommend any Max location . But for this one in particular, make sure you make reservations; if dining on the weekend!

What I loved most about this restaurant, besides the great food, was the ambience. You could go sit at the bar and have the same, relaxed, and enjoyable night as if you called ahead and made reservations. They are obviously well known for their seafood, but their other options are great. Their classic burger was perfectly cooked, medium rare, and the fries were delicious. Will definitely be back!
