Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

If you want good New England style (the best style) pizza, Pepe’s is the move. Can’t go wrong with some classic cheese but all their toppings are bomb too. The crew there is super nice and you also can’t go wrong with any of their salads.

Thank you for being awesome. I felt Dan (from Buffalo) never let my water glass go empty because he is excellent and is super attentive to his guests needs. I got my money’s worth with the toppings and the sauce was so incredibly tasty! This was my first time here and I cannot wait to come back.

A couple of years ago, while on a work trip, I was directed by the locals to Frank Pepe in New Haven. It changed my life. I have dreamt about that pizza, and finally returned to Connecticut for another pie. Unfortunately, this location does the name no justice. Don't get me wrong, it was still good, but the love wasn't there. Had this been my first Pepe pizza, I would have walked away unchanged. I think Frank needs to stop by this branch and whip the employees back into shape. I'll be revisiting the New Haven location to make sure the magic is still there, but I can't recommend this spot. The Kola, however, is still amazing.

Pizza was really good. Good sauce, crust, flavor. My only complaint would be that some of the clams were a bit chewy for me. Easy enough to discard and continue enjoying the rest of the pie. Would come back for sure, next time I'll try a white pie with a delicious pork product of some sort.
