Zaytoon Mediterranean

Incredible Mediterranean food - so incredible I went two nights in a row with friends. The owner, Omar, is so warm and welcoming. I can’t recommend enough. We had the lamb gyro platter and a few of their desserts.

My family loved Zaytoon’s! The new location is beautifully remodeled and the food is delicious. Omar is a wonderful host and treats you like family.

I have been to Zaytoon Mediterranean twice in the last two weeks. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Each time the food was outstanding, and deserving of a return trip even though it is a little out of the way for me.

Both times I had the Tahini Cauliflower appetizer. The presentation was different each time though equally delicious. The cauliflower is cookied to be tender - soft yet firm and not mushy or raw. It is slightly charged or brown without having a burnt taste. It is drizzled with a nice slightly lemony Tahini.

The combination gyro platter was truly amazing. Lamb and chicken gyro meat, rice and hummus served with pita.

The lamb tourine was also delicious. Lamb shank with meat that fell off the bone, with an assortment of vegetables (zucchini, carrots, onions, and a few others.

The menu itself is extensive and filled with intriguing options. It is just hard to choose which one to try, but I guess that will keep me coming back.

The dining area is open, yet even when packed on a Saturday night, it wasn't loud, making it easy to carry on a conversation. The staff are friendly and attentive. On a busy Saturday night they were definitely getting a workout going from table to table.

Overall it is a new favorite of mine.

The restaurant space itself is gorgeous. The food is so fresh and delicious, full of flavor. The staff is incredibly friendly. We’ll definitely be back! Be sure to make a reservation if you want to go on a Saturday night.

Excellent new cultural addition to this area. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the hummus with vegetables for an appetizer, the mixed grilled seafood entree, and baklava for dessert. Each dish was delicious. I will definitely be coming back with friends in the future for fresh food and timely service.
