THE 202 TAVERN

Great little place. With good food and service.

Rings End New Milford, we had our" end of year" picnic catered by Oscar and Rebecca at Rt 202 Tavern, the food was not only excellent but plentiful, a great experience and price. Thank you all for making our event a total success. I highly recommend this restaurant for catering a party. We had a group of 30 , their was plenty of food to go around. Wish you continued success from all of us, at Rings End New Milford.

We came on Labor Day Weekend and loved the service, food, and drinks. Nichole was our server and she was awesome. My sister and I shared a plate of fish and chips and they went as far as to bring it out in two individual servings. The owner, who’s also the chef came out to greet us. Needless to say, we had a great experience.

We just ate there and I have to tell you, the food was great but our waitress was incredibly tactless. She was throwing F bombs at us and swearing throughout the restaurant like it was acceptable behavior. I'm sorry, but it's not. When she was called out about her swearing she came right back with another swear. We didn't go out to hear such trashy talk and I'd like to know who does? She needs to rethink her approach with guests because it was not an enjoyable experience at all. So not cool.

Follow up: following my review I was contacted by the owners. I appreciate their quick reply and professionalism. It is a clear indication that this behavior is not acceptable even by them. I want to reiterate that my score was not based on the food but rather an employees inappropriate behavior. I think highly of the establishment and the food is incredible.

I am so glad we found this place. Trying to find a place for my daughter's birthday lunch and forgot that it was Monday and some places were closed. Came upon this restaurant and it was fantastic. We ate outside next to the water. I had the catfish sandwich which was delicious. Definitely a place we will go back to. Service was also to be commended.
