Oh my this may be the best restaurant I've been to in a few years...trust me as a "Foody" and growing up with gourmet Italian cook's/Grandparents who made everything from scratch- breads , pastas , grew all their own veggies using local farm meats...this place reminded me of them... There is a special taste when food is local .
Today I had fillet of hanger steak ( tender and delicious) with endive spring salad light lemony fennel dressing with my most fa v route part of all ...these large rectangle crispy potatoes .Crispy outside and mashed potatoes in a wide.
Can't say enough I am in ???? THANKS GRANOS

We started off with the best eggplant I've ever eaten and a beautiful dish of homemade gnocchi with pesto and mint, I've never been a fan of gnocchi but I am now, they were perfect little pillows that just melted in your mouth! The spicy Gemelli featured perfectly cooked octopus and mussels, also had the Amatriciana with a sauce that you wanted every last drop! My only regret, I should have taken pictures ! Hats off chef Joe Roberto, Haley and the other awesome staff!! We will be back!

I moved to CT from NYC about 12 years ago. One of the things I have always said is "I miss the food." This is one of those places that makes it so I don't miss NYC and it's food! We just visited here as a post Valentine's Day date with my wife. I'm a foodie she's much more cautious about what she'll eat, however we both love an adventure! We decided to go with the 6 course Tasting Menu and boy it did not disappoint! The food was marvelous! Honestly some of the best food I have eaten in CT ever! Honestly it's on par with some of the best food I've eaten period! From NYC to San Francisco to Singapore and Spain this place stacks up in the best way possible! This will become our new go to spot with out a doubt. The Tasting Menu had many things that we had never eaten, however we both enjoyed it immensely! Out of 6 courses there was only one dish I would not order again, but even that was still good to eat. I can not say it in any other words, this place is simply marvelous!

My wife and I loved this restaurant. The food and drinks were fabulous. They go one step above making homemade pasta: they even mill their own pasta grain. Drinks are unique and tasty. A nice touch is being visited by chef Joel at your table. Atmosphere is calm and romantic. Highly recommend!

Delicious food in a historic building in a beautiful historic town. New England grains are milled in-house creating fantastic bread and pastas. More about the quality of the offerings than the quantity as there are limited number of entrees but they are prepared and presented so well. More expensive than you might expect but well worth it for special occasions. Extensive list of cocktails and wine. Worth a stop, try lunch first as prices are a bit lower.
